"A cheat item...!"
His eyes were currently bulging out of their sockets with shock.
But he quickly calmed himself down
'It never did anything before now'
Well, every kid dreamed of having a peerless item that allowed them and their four friends to transform into a group of color-coded heroes fighting monsters to protect humanity!
Well too bad for him! He couldn't meet either requirements for reasons out of his control, how could he transform when he tried everything in his possession, not sparing his imagination alone to find a way to power up.
'Power up? Actually, what does the watch do?'
And back to the present situation.
Eze just saw his uncle use blackmagic or something to hypnotize the 'Him' in that dream. He had a nagging feeling that what he was seeing had already happened but no matter how much he scratched his head he couldn't find the corresponding memories.
"So first of all, my Uncle knows Ju-Ju" that had been established through repeatedly breaking the scientific norms. That last green door? Is that how Ju-Ju practitioners travel? It looks very modern
He had to imagine a rope to wrangle his galloping imagination.
"Secondly, the watch my father left me with a glowing green gem turned out to be a magical item that allows me to observe dreams? Where is this place?"
The place he was standing in was a pitch black space. The darkness around him was so eerie that he didn't dare to move around in it for fear of the unknown.
"So if I'm reading this right, the item my dad left me reacted once it discovered that 'I', the inheritor had been taken control of and pulled me into the…Fake Reality, yeah sound good. The Fake Reality is where 'I' am to learn about the fact that I'm being controlled, and once I leave this place the control will probably wear off…"
He considered what to do then, especially if he was still within the sights of his Uncle.
"CheatWatch do you have any other functions?" Eze called out to the dark Fake Reality in front of him.
After he escaped the first person view the watch left his hand, off to whereabouts unknown, and it didn't answer his present call
The only reply he got was the void surrounding him.
"And I can't stay in here forever" he spoke while sighing softly. 'I was afraid this would be my only option"
Without wasting any more time that could be valuable for all he knew he chose to leave the void
His eyes were first enveloped by the brightness of the lights as he wound back in reality.
Without hesitating he tensed his body and wound his muscles up to run away if anything were to happen.
He smelt the air that was unique to his house. Then he felt his heart start beating wildly, because he heard sounds of approaching footsteps through what sounded like floor.
His eyesight recovered at that moment to catch his present nightmare: a man in his mid-thirties with a goatee that made him look like a goat and the attire of a western ghost just round the bend from the passage leading into the house.
The present location: the living room of their three bedroom house
But without stopping he picked himself up and ran wildly.
His destination: Eze who was sitting on the couch that he had no memory of returning to.
Without having time to pay attention to the differences that were beginning to manifest between his body and his mind, he swung his foot that was wearing a pair of size 44 koin-koin shoes*.
His objective: his enemy's life
Maybe it was ordained by God himself, it seemed like the heavens aligned at that moment to make Eze's humble wish come to pass.
It seemed that his uncle was too focused on coming at him wildly that he paid no attention to the crazed look of a cornered beast that appeared in the eyes of the person that was supposed to be under his control, or the looming shoe-shaped shadow that headed straight for the path he was on and seemed to block his field of vision with every increasing step.
BAM
Eze on the other hand used the recoil, no it should be said that the recoil used him as an unevenly shaped projectile as he rolled over behind the head of the sofa and landed behind it, crashing there.
But before he could rejoice, he heard a different pair of footsteps rushing over.
The participant was a different man who shared some similarities to the man presently rubbing a size-44 indent print on the side of the face. He managed to shift his face at the last second.
He shouted at the man behind him without turning around "Release your Spatial Lock, Viktor, quickly or-"
The newcomer didn't seem to have the patience. He smiled devilishly before his twinkling eyes similarly turned green and caused Shoe-face Uncle to stumble in his words before gritting his teeth and revealing a deathly glare.
Eze who was watching from the sidelines was first confused seeing the intruder before realizing that if he didn't show up his Uncle would probably be facing him
"Enough. I'm sick of your childish antics, younger brother. Your Persuasion may have been the best the family has seen in hundreds of years but do you think you could control someone of similar strength long enough for you to get the boy, undo your Spatial Lock and THEN escape. Do you really take me for a caricature?
Hearing that the one called Viktor smiled brighter. "You can save it, Goatface," he said causing Shoeface to scowl
"I admit, you really had me fooled when you said you didn't have any interest in the inheritance all those years ago. " You just wanted to raise your brother's legacy' right?
"You don't understand! The Legacy Item is on HIM! HIM! HIM! HIM! HIM! HIM! HIM!" he was beginning to become frustrated now.
At this moment four pairs of green eyes eerily turned their eyes towards him
But they widened in shock, because the figure at a corner of the living room, was already almost gone completely
Earlier Eze had noticed that the watch(which was now on his hand) had a connection with him, he was only paying a moderate amount of information to their conversation, the bulk of his focus was on finding a way to escape the both of them.
This was basically a once in a lifetime opportunity from heaven!
As in, once he missed this, it would be a lifetime of hypnosis and enslavement for him, or maybe even worse!
He tried his best to communicate his intentions to the watch on his wrist.
(Get me….so far away from here that they can't find me) he said mentally
He didn't know if it would work, but he desperately tried because he could sense he didn't have much time left.
Finally as if sensing his urgency the green gem on the watch glowed dimly for a short amount of time.
Then next thing he knew he started fading!
His body started losing substance before his eyes, as if he was entering a different dimension in the most covert manner possible. He was escaping!
"He's escaping! This is the exact reason why he needed to be kept under control, and YOU interfered immediately you got here.
"Well, focus, we need to stop him" Victor was no longer smiling as he seriously stretched out his hand to reach for something.
An invisible, translucent curtain ripped off the surrounding areas, causing unknown changes to spread around the space as it attempted to wrap around Eze's vanishing figure.
Unfortunately it seemed to be the day for escaping today, all obstacles set at him seemed to go right through him as he steadily disappeared.
"AHHHH," Shoeface punched the wall of the house in anger.
"Hey, I don't like this as much as you do. So the World was in his hands all along, it really makes me want to cough blood after taking care, feeding and clothing him for 16 WHOLE years!"
Then he started laughing a high-pitched mocking laughter while watching his brother's expression.
"You're an idiot!" he shouted angrily "He's really gone, he's left headed for the Cosmic Plane"
"Why didn't you try to stop him? Your abilities are best suited for manipulating space?" Viktor replied unsurely
His facial expression changed, the purple print on his face contorting. He then said in a weird tone, "I had an accident."
He seemed to be recollecting the horrible series of experiences he had after he left with his nephew. Thinking back on it could that item be respnsible
The younger brother no longer seemed to be as confident as before, he looked dazed for a second while the man with an obvious shoe print on his face continued, "The spatial lock you set up was simply left alone it means that he left by travelling through a higher dimension, but I don't know why the World sent him to the Cosmic Plane, unless…"
He looked back at his brother who was no longer dazed. There was a look of horror in both their eyes

Meanwhile when Eze came to, he found himself in a …
'Where am I, who am I, who I be?'
He found that there was a huge gap in his memories!
*In the last chapter i counted three cheat watches, you?
*I really don't know how to describe it in specific, but yeah, Koin-Koin is Onomatopoeia for the sound shoes with hard soles make, usually referring to dancing shoes, Oxfords, Brogues, et cetera. Buy anomalous-writer a ko-fi or receive a koin-koin shoe to the face, the choice is yours
