The twins and I talked as we ate our food about our first classes of the day, and before we knew it the bell was ringing again.
I stood up as the arrows appeared once again to show me to my next class.
"See you two later." I said.
Penny gave me a hug and said, "Love you too bro".
I then gave Seban a (1)bro handshake and made my way out of the lunchroom. I got a few glares from the other students who sat at our table, but I tried to at least act like I was ignoring them.
It did hurt to see so many people judging me so harshly without getting to know me, but there's nothing I could do about it.
I straightened my tie and picked my head up as I walked to my next class.
While my mom and dad may not have been around as much as my siblings and I would have liked growing up, there were many things they made sure to instill in us while they were there. One of those things being to always hold your head high and remember who you are. I'm one of the princes of this world, so I can't let some dirty looks from a few little brats get to me.
As I made it to the door of my next class I prepared myself mentally by clearing out all thoughts of other things. I need to make sure I get all of the knowledge I can within the time I am supposed to.
The General Education classes last for 1 month, so after that 1 month my siblings and I will have 11 months to get approval from our combat class instructors and our main class instructors to graduate early.
I walked through the door and was met with a surprise.
The classroom was much bigger than I thought it would be. There was space in the classroom for at least 80 students to be comfortable in. It was more accurate to call it a lecture hall than a classroom. The rows of seats were elevated as you traveled farther to the back of the classroom.
I made my way to a seat a few rows from the back as most of the front and middle row seats were already taken.
The teacher for this class wasn't here yet so I decided to observe my surroundings for the time being.
There were still students pouring into the lecture hall, but many were already seated.
I wasn't receiving any dirty looks, so I assumed there was no one from lunch who knew me in this class.
Then I noticed there was someone making their way over here. She was walking down the same row that I was currently sitting on, and I knew she was walking towards me because there was no one else on this row.
She had long blonde hair that seemed to glisten from the lights of the room and white skin. I could see her mysterious looking eyes even from the 10 feet that were currently between us. Her eyes had a light gray color that looked unnatural. She had a beautiful face that could stun any man, and maybe even a few women. She was also almost as tall as me, standing at around 5'9 (175 cm). Her figure was also something noteworthy as she had a perfect hourglass figure.
"May I sit here?" She asked me with a sweet voice.
"Sure." I said.
I cursed my inner nervousness inside my head. While it definitely didn't show, I was extremely nervous talking to this pretty girl.
One of the things my parents taught us as royalty is to have both a poker face and to know how to manipulate your face to show false emotions as well. If need be, I could make someone think I am having the time of my life talking to them with just a facial expression, even if I hated their guts with all of my heart.
"I'm Alice by the way." She said and held out her hand.
"Maruma." I reached out my hand and shook hers politely.
This was very different from the bows of respect I usually receive, but it was a good type of "different".
"Your hair is a very nice color by the way. Reminds me of a real life picture I saw of King Astor one time in my fathers study." Alice said.
I looked over to her with small bit of slight surprise visible on my face.
"Thanks.
Your eyes are beautiful." I gave her a compliment back out of politeness, but it was still a real compliment.
She blushed a bit before saying, "Thanks".
Before we could continue on our conversation, or flirting depending on who asked, the teacher finally walked into the class.
"Good afternoon class! My name is Professor Nancy" She yelled.
Our General Education teacher was a short woman who at first glance looked sweet and kind, but her loud voice kind of ruined that image almost immediately.
"The General Education course is fast, and I have a lot of stuff to teach you, so let's get started now! Open up the notes feature by saying 'Notes' in your head and get to typing once I start the lecture!" She yelled.
Professor Nancy then started on her first General Education lecture. There was not a single thing that she taught today that I didn't already know. It was all about the wars that plagued our world from the start of our civilization up until the last Vendar War.
Most of the war stories the professor told us about I had already heard and in greater detail from my father. I occasionally told some of these extra tidbits to Alice throughout our lecture as I was able to make it appear like I just already knew about this stuff and not that my father had told me them.
She seemed very interested after the first extra story I told her about, so I continued to tell her throughout the rest of the lecture. However, I wasn't the only one talking, Alice made a lot of conversation as well so I could tell I wasn't boring her to death or annoying her.

(1) I say "Bro handshake" but what I really mean is "dap", but I understand that dap is American slang and people from other countries might not understand it. So if you want to know what I mean by bro handshake, go to google and look up "dap handshake".
