Chapter 14 - That Night

I walked towards the turn with James behind me. We were surprised to see LISA MENNON ALIVE.

Lisa was pointing a gun towards her father but the shot she took was beside him and not on him. Which means that every prove that I gathered was very well alive now. There was no bright light on that road. It was just a blinking light. Lisa's hairs were shining pitch dark black in that light.

We all were taken to police station and I started my story "The Lisa's story started way back the day she disappeared. We all know that Lisa was never very fond of anything like money and fame and everything but the day she saw her father cheating on her mother, it came down hard on her because she always considered her father a superhero and loved him very much. I had my doubt that she planned to elope when Dave mentioned the fact that she left money in the counter. But the  her not taking any clothes was not matching, then after I read her confession in the diary which was also burned by Uncle Brian, I understood she didn't want any money from her dad and that is why she brought a this jumpsuit with her own earned money via selling drugs and paid for the dress she was wearing. Then she broke her phone and ran away. She came back with a feeling of vengeance against her father after she was sure that her mother was killed by her father."

I gave the whole description of what happened and why it happened.

Lisa said now "she is right. I really came back to kill Dad but then I thought about Ana. She told dad by mistakewithoit thinking."

With that as a witness Brian Mennon was sent to prison and Lisa came back home.

We decided to now get married.

"Dave I really want to meet that Lawyer. I thing we should apologize for what happened after all it was Brian Mennon who killed him."

"You are right." He smiled and we went to the lawyer's house.

It was the day his body was supposed to burnt. We met his wife who was ofcourse crying hard.

"Mrs Simmons?" I called her

"Oh you are the one who brought my husband to justice, didn't you?"

"Yes but one of my family members is the reason he is dead."

"I thought it was Mennon family?"

"Oh I am marrying Dave mennon, son of Brian mennon."

"Congratulations."

I went towards the body and leaned down, I saw the body and something bothered me.

Dave received a call and went outside to receive it and Mrs Simmons gave me something saying "these are all the legal documents formed by my husband and was supposed to be given to Dave."

I took it and asked "He doesn't have any more copy of the divorce agreement, does he?"

"Another?"

"Yeah, except the copy he was killed for."

"He never had a copy."

"What?"

I thought if he didn't have any copy then why did he got killed? Everything that fell in place with Brian getting arrested now started to immediately fall apart with this one peice out of the place.

"Anyways, I'll leave now." I shook hands and went out.

I now needed to look over it from the very start. I started my own investigation basically just a follow up. I asked James for the crime scene photos and then Bella to confirm something.

It took me one day full to do the questioning and now I only had one thing left to do but the problem was I didn't know how to comfirm. But then something I found at Dave's house helped me confirm the final something.

Tomorrow was my marriage and now I was very much sure of what happened that night. Every single detail was clear to me and I did not like the detail.

I called James, Dave, Lisa, Linda, Sandy, Daisy, Bella, Brenda and Lawyer's wife because I needed everyone there.

We met at the same place this all happened that is the deck.

"Whatever happened that night was something no one expected and even after looking at this thing that carefully, I never realized the truth. I don't like the truth and neither will anyone of you but this is the truth." I started off like this because now that I am going to tell was unexpected.

Something unexpected? What is going on?.... let's continue ahead for the truth...
