I threw the whole water in my mouth on Dave.
"What!!!!"
He took out a handkerchief and cleaning himself sair "I should never say anything abruptly with you having water in your mouth. Noted."
"I am sorry about that but still what!!!?"
"Listen you think my mom's case is foul play and you are the first person who noticed it so it is not an issue if you find out everything."
"I can't because your mom's case can be something else or more of a mistake too. I just told as informed."
"Please Ana... you need to find out because if you are right my sister....." His face showed how much he loved her sister and how much would he love to get her back to himself.
After seeing how much he wanted to know about his sister, I just could not say no.
"Okay I will do it."
"Thanks Ana."
"Meet me tomorrow at my shop." I asked him to meet because I needed to ask him some details about the cases. Yes both because as much as I want to get Aunt Lucy's murderer, I wanted to find his sister Lisa because it was like she just vanished in thin air.
Next morning when I reached the shop the two idiots Linda and Sandy came at me asking "How was your Date!!!!"
"Okay millionth time, that was not a date!!!!!!!! When will this thing get inside your head. Will it ever?" I almost shouted when Dave walked in "Last night was a Date...hmm..that is a nice speculation."
Linda and Sandy asked "She won't tell us but how was the date last night."
I was looking at Dave with anger and more of daring him to say anything.
Dave was looking at me with a smirk and then he said without removing his gaze off me "The Date went murderous."
Linda and Sandy looked at him with complete confusion "How can a Date go murderous?" Linda asked.
"Well when your date constantly talks about your mother's death that is when your date goes murderous."
Sandy was about to say something but I stopped him "Dave let's go in and talk."
Dave looked at me nodded and came inside. As soon as he stepped into my office he said with a flirty voice "Date? You never mentioned this."
"Don't get cocky now and listen to me. Your mom's death is definitely related to your sister's disappearance."
"But how!?"
"Tell me, what are the chances of you sister disappears a year before your mother is murdered?"
I got Dave's brain working. He also started thinking about the chances of this coincidence happening. It is not much or more of it is practically impossible.
"But first things first, this murder theory is just a theory until I am able to prove it."
"But how will you, we don't know who gave it."
"It has to be somebody from home because who will have access to the medicines?"
"Then it will be easy to prove."
"Next stop your house..." I said and we went to his house.
We went to his house essentially to find the second bottle of blood thinner. Because whatever it was and it definitely killed aunt Lucy and I had to fund it out.
We reached his house and uncle Brian gave me the most warm smile possible. He always does that when he sees me actually I think he sees his daughter in me. I thought to myself "I promise uncle Brian, I will get your daughter back and find your wife's murderer."
I said that to myself and followed Dave to his mother's room. Her room was beautifully decorated yet very classy. There was nothing extra no where, everything seemed just perfect. I took a look around but couldn't see the blood thinner bottle. Dave opened up the medicine section where I could not find anything. I checked below the beds but there was nothing there either then I thought "Aunt Lucy used to have blood thinner so she must recognize a bottle of it so if somebody forced the medication on her she would defend and on defences the medicines must fall here and there. So is it possible that it was someone she knew?"
I had an idea then "If somebody wants to get away with murder why to leave behind the murder weapon? Where would he keep the murder weapon?"
I was thinking when Dave came to me and said "No second bottle of blood thinner. What if the murderer threw it away?"
"Possible. Most intelligent choice of never be able to find that bottle." I thought.
Then again one thing came to my mind "Let's take this first bottle back and give it a count."
"What!!!?"
"Think about it, what if the murderer never took the murder weapon out? What if he kept the extra capsules in this itself?"
"Ummm"
I took the bottle and brought it back. When I came back to the shop Sandy and Linda were ofcourse spending time with each other. They saw me come there and stopped. Dave was about to say something but I was way too concentrated on the case.
"Sandy you are a forensic student can you tell me anything about these which a normal eye can't catch?"
"Ummm like what?"
"I don't know maybe like the pills are extra or something?"
"I need the doctor certificate and the date she brought it. Then I might be able to find the amount of pills but this is going to take time and when I say I mean it."
Sandy and Linda got to work and started counting the pills. Yes I know it is a little difficult and hectic work but it can be done. They were really fast and did it by sundown.
"The pills are fine completely good. The bottle was not forced open either."
I really didn't understand if the pills were not missing or added how did they kill her? Dave was happy that my theory was wrong. I and Dave went out to eat together. There were lots of noises and many people speaking at a time.
Dave was also happy and talking to me but I couldn't get my head off the fact that the bottle was not forced open. She didn't fight back when somebody tried to give her the medicines. Nothing in the garbage bin. Nothing in the house suggests that it was a murder except my gut. I had strong feelings that everything is deep here and if Lisa was kidnapped, Aunt Lucy was murdered then the next targets could be Dave or uncle Brian.
Out off all those voice, the noise, I heard one thing that gave me a solution.
"I got it!!!!" I shouted.
What did she hear? what do you think would have happened if nothing was tampered with? continue to know!!!!
