Joon is already near the stairs. When Joon looks down the stairs, for some reason the stairs look so dark and long than before.
Drap!
Drap!
Drap!
Footsteps were heard approaching towards Joon from the corridor. The longer the sound the louder the footsteps.
Joon jumped. His heart was racing again. Even though it was dark, Joon walked down the stairs carefully. He didn't want to die a silly death from falling down the stairs.
Joon holds on very tightly to the banister. He descended the stairs one by one. Joon almost slipped several times, but luckily he was holding on tightly to the iron guardrail at the edge of the stairs.
The sound of footsteps behind Joon, sounded closer. And now it sounded like running towards Joon. Joon also ran down the stairs even faster, still holding on to the railing of the stairs.
Joon slipped and tumbled down the ten steps to the bottom. Although not very high, but enough to make Joon's bones crackle. Joon fell huddled under the stairs. He covered his ears with his arms.
"Huwaakh, don't kill me, please! I still love rice huhuhu!" Joon's cry, which he had been holding back since the appearance of the first strange creature, finally broke now.
Joon is not afraid of thugs, but he is afraid of this kind of astral creature.
Joon still closed his eyes, covering his ears. He was afraid to imagine what form the strange creature that kept bothering him would look like.
Joon is curled up on the cold floor. He felt a hand touch him.
"Hey, what's wrong, Joon? Why are you running, huh?"
The voice just now sounded so familiar to Joon's ears. Joon opened his eyes and slowly sat up. In the dim, he saw the figure of an annoying man with cold eyes and always looked intimidating.
"Otousan! Why does it appear like a ghost in a horror movie like that, huh?! I almost died of fright!" Joon scolded Takeyuki for appearing suddenly like that. Joon thought that the otousan was playing a prank on Joon, it seems. It was clear from Takeyuki's expression who was currently laughing despicably.
Takeyuki laughed and teased his son's face.
"Hahaha, you're really weird, Joon! Otousan had been calling for you, but you ran instead."
Takeyuki pulled up the uniform his son was wearing, when he saw Joon continued to hold his waist.
"Want to laugh again, but I'm sorry too," Takeyuki muttered when he saw the bluish red bruise on Joon's hip area. Maybe because it fell from the stairs earlier.
Joon pushed Takeyuki to fall backwards. Almost tomorrow morning a newspaper will appear with the headline 'A Teenager Chased Dead by His Own Father'. The Japanese really have no morals, Joon thought.
"Otousan can call me from above, right? Why are you chasing Joon without saying anything, huh?! Joon almost died of fright," Joon muttered, annoyed. The otousan already knew that Joon couldn't be in a tense situation, but he still had time to work on Joon, he thought.
"Hahaha, otousan didn't mean to scare you, Joon. Really! Otousan called you from upstairs, but you ran away instead." Takeyuki spoke the truth. He hadn't gone straight home earlier because he was working on the class 10-F report card first.
Takeyuki was told by the principal that Joon and Gilang were punished for cleaning the entire corridor after school. So, Takeyuki intends to take Joon home together. Eh, the child ran in fear and ended up rolling down the stairs.
When he saw his son's stocky body rolling down the stairs, Takeyuki stifled a laugh. It was like seeing a sack of rice dropped from the top of the stairs. Who knows. This sounds cruel indeed, but considering his son's annoying behavior, so Takeyuki sometimes has the heart. It was funny and excited when he saw Joon was scared earlier.
Joon pursed his lips, taking his eyes off the Japanese. If Joon's bone is broken, his Otousan must be held responsible.
"So are we going home now?" Takeyuki asked.
