As soon as I finished primary school I was selected to join the first form in 2002 at nyamasanda secondary school as the school was far from home I had to now live away from my parents secondary schooling was not easy because now I have stopped studying in Kiswahili and now eight subjects we were studying in English except Swahili only we studied in Kiswahili, In fact it took me a while to understand the English language. When I was in Form One, the problem that bothered me was the parents' lack of money for taxes and other contributions needed at school and this led to me not getting well at school and leading to poor academic performance. In 2003 when I was in second form in the final exam to enter third form I did not pass and I had to repeat form two the following year. Dad, looking at my problem, he had to move me to school so that I could move closer to home school and move to Bukwe High School. The following year 2004 I returned to Form Two and in the final exam to enter Form Three I did well and passed and entered Form Three. I continued with my studies but the problem of parents missing contributions continued to hold me back in my studies and there were times when I had to drop out of school and go to work to earn money and pay school fees. 2006 was my last year of high school and when we did my final exam I really failed and got fourth grade. In fact I was very hurt and it took me a while to accept the results. After accepting the results I had to now look at what I would do in my life outside of studies.
