Selene couldn't pinpoint where exactly the smell came from because it was so faint and only lasted a second.
Commander Thorne took off his hat and placed it on his chest as he greeted with a smile, "Good day, I wish to meet the Young Master."
Selene stared at Commander Thorne and scanned him. There were dark bags under his eyes like he could hardly get any sleep. Despite having a receding hairline and very few strands of gray hair, he was a handsome man.
"He just attended to the previous guest." Selene closed the door and said as she helped him remove his frock coat to hang on the coat rack. She noticed his right hand was awkwardly stiff and the movements he made with it were very limited.
