William left Gilberto's store and went to find the first target, a man named George.
Blue Bone Tavern was located on the west side of the town, while Gilberto's store was somewhere on the east. As of the moment, William was walking up north. That was also where the town chief's manor was located.
…Ok, he said this George dude is big and gets annoyed easily. If he doesn't pay up, I should immediately beat him up. I'll have to use his preparedness to my advantage… William thought as he followed the path Gilberto gave him to find George.
William could collect George's debt last but what if he defers William and collects all the other debt he successfully collected? He would start owing Gilberto because of his inconvenience. The sly merchant didn't mention it so so William wouldn't drop the job, but he anticipates that if William fails, then he would pay the debts. Gilberto would have William on a leash.
