Aion followed the others as they searched for the girl. It didn't take long, as they had already spotted her before and they only just followed the area they saw her leaving through.

Leaving dejectedly and anxious, the girl walked away. Her mind unable to form any comprehensible words or thoughts as it remained jumbled, she was only walking by in reality she was already empty inside, her soul had left her body and was sitting atop her head just waiting for the bonds holding it to the body to be severed.

Suddenly her hand was yanked hard, as she fell backwards into Aion arms. A special unique warmth envelopes her as it seems through her very being and calms her worries down with a promise of utter safety and protection.

She stays a few seconds enjoying the calm and warmth before she then raises her head to look at the person that had grabbed and hugged her.

As she looks at Aion's face, she suddenly had a feeling about him, about his unwelcomed aura to the world and yet it's perfect synchrony with it. A being that was not of this world but yet is a pillar to the world's existence. A being of the maximum but is humbled to the minimum.

Her senses were overwhelmed and filled with a form of praise to Aion and the desire to worship his feet as a supreme deity, but it was all a unique type of hypnosis Aion didn't know he has.

It was a charismatic hypnosis, that makes everyone visualize him as the lord over the realms, but it's requirements were for one to have a soul stronger than others.

Aion has a good and strong soul, but it is not strong enough to make this passive skill work on people yet, perhaps it could on low intelligence domestic animals, but not on humans, at least not yet.

Yet it had affected the girl as Aion successfully secured a perfect first impression, and it was because of the girl's mental state and condition.

She is on the verge of death, her mind and body are no longer united, and even her soul had detached a bit from her body and there is no longer unity between the trio, which is what caused her soul strength to lower enough for the hypnosis to work on her.

Seeing her expression that said her soul was back inside her body and her mind was functioning well, Aion used the chance to shake her up, as she stared back into his eyes.

"Don't go back!" He said, immediately catching her off guard.

"It is not over yet, I ca- we can still help you and it will be alright"

The girl cocks her head sideways as she foolishly stared at Aion without understanding his words.

It was not exactly that she didn't understand his words, it was more like her brain doesn't correlate his words for her ongoing situation, and she just doesn't link his words to her problem and she also doesn't see a different matter in which she can match his words with.

"What do you mean?" She asked as she looks at the other three beside Aion staring at her, and after she sees Grad she squints her eyes as she pulled herself away from the hug.

"What is going on here?" She said again as she stepped away.

Aion moved closer, but she picks up a rock piece on the ground as she steps back again moving further away from the group.

"Don't come closer, answer me from where you are, what the hell is going on here, and why did you pull me into a hug, do I know you before?" Asking a bunch of questions, the girl makes sure her grip on the rock is firm then she makes her stance more pronounced.

She chose to use a rock rather than her weapon as she understands her body condition, she is weakened from the fight she just had and it wouldn't work in her favour if she has another fight right after, and it isn't even one with an opponent but rather with four opponents.

Considering how their intentions aren't clear yet, she can't just pull out her weapon at them, as if they weren't planning on fighting her before, they could take that as a reason to. So it was more reasonable to use a piece of rock that would show that she can fight back but doesn't mean any threat.

"We both know you'll die if you go back empty handed, or let's say you are already dead as it is." Her eyes widen and her expression was one of shock but it only lasted a second as she quickly returns to normal.

"I don't understand what you're saying, please leave!" She says with a stiff face as she ignores and averts his claim.

"You know very well you lost your last chance at life by losing your slot, that's was the only way you could have gone back home and be pardoned, that was the only way you could have lived to see tomorrow. So when I say I want to help you, why are you intent on killing yourself, why are you hellbent on going towards that same path of doom and death, why don't you want salvation for your self." Aion boldly walks towards her, as rather than her hitting him with the rock or moving backwards, her hand subconsciously lowers as the rock falls from it to the ground.

"There is little time left for the gods field to open, why don't you come along with me and get another slot, then we can decide later whether you want to still go back to your people or, you'll be staying with me."

She looks up at him with teary eyes that threatens to spill, her shoulders had dropped along with her posture and her vulnerability finally showed itself as she looks at Aion hopefully.

Aion smiles as he turns back and walks away, the rest of the team walking with him as well.

"Meriel!"

Aion stops as he looks back at the girl, that shouted at him.

"My name... Is Meriel!" She says again, this time Aion and the team understands her.

"Okay then Meriel, let's go get you a rank!"

...

Far away from planet Toter, and out of the regional territory of Nemo Majoris galaxy, into the silent cluster of light and darkness. A being floats calmly in the suffocating lifeless atmosphere of space, different ancient runes floats around the being and even the devouring chaotic space could not come close to the being, mysteriously creating a space in space, as around the being lays an empty space where nothing dared to come into.

The being was just floating calmly without care, and the way the eyelids were wrinkled, it felt like it hasn't been opened for the past hundred thousands of years.

The being body was unable to be made out in the terrifying darkness that enshrouds it, as it seems to be repelling every type of view or sight upon it.

Suddenly the eyes that had been shut for millennials upon millennials, cracked open a slit. With it a terrifying pressure descends into the area as the turbulent chaotic space ran even further from the being.

The pressure didn't last a millisecond as it recedes back into the being, calming the turbulent waves of space back into its silent form.

"Hmm..." With a deep gruff hoarse voice, the being takes a long sigh, one of the rune surrounding the being forms into a barrier as it blocks the explosion that came as a result of it's sigh, an explosion that could potentially wipe out the space he was floating in.

"Someone's Fate was just changed. By who?..." The being said as it's deep golden eyes stared of into the distance.

In the darkness of the area, it's mouth was able to be slightly made out, as a smirk stretches on its lips.

"Someone I can't see, but their aura is not of those four... Is it perhaps one of their children. Thanatos just lost a child, and his three others are not up to this level to change Fate, so it can't be him." The being smirk widens into a grin, as he then bursts out into a full blown laughter.

Explosion were ringing up and about, everywhere his mouth faces when he laughs, his numerous runes actively securing the explosions inside protective barriers. After laughing until he was satisfied, his face then changes to a frown, a frown that holds I told stories of hatred and revenge.

"Lets see what the 'River of Time' shall wash unto my shore this time..." He then bursts out into laughter again with the explosions following suit.
