Chapter 1 - **WHILE YOU WHERE SLEEPING **

Mist.....was all I could make out of the cold and dark alley, my legs moved on their own while my body felt light as a feather like I'm floating on air, my eyes where blurry, I couldn't see a thing my heart raced as my breathing was raged my mind was hazy as my surroundings nothing was heard only the disturbing sound of a drop of water every minute.

I tried getting control of my body only to be gripped by the neck, I tried clawing out the fingers rapped around my neck resisting my air flow, in a tight grip its nails scraped my skin I felt a tickle blood drip down my neck.

One minute my life was on the line the next I was bent down coughing and ravishingly taking in some air my system, I touched my now healed wounds I couldn't feel the blood I felt earlier, my heart beat accelerated, I hadn't even noticed I could now control my body.

Standing up with wobbly legs My gaze searched the hazy environment a drop of water fell on my forehead, I looked up as two more drop ascended on my forehead wiping my forehead with my palm looking at the red liquid in horror.....

I slowly looked up I found corpses hung in thin air I let out a cry of help running away only to come back in the same spot. The drops of blood intensified like heavy rain drops....I was soaked in blood the metallic smell of blood flooded my senses.

A faint mockery could be heard.

'Welcome to my playground' the voice whispered.

'You can run but not hide this is my kingdom' the whisper came again this time lighter and taunting...

" it's all in my head" I kept chanting as the voice let out a devious laugh. "it's all a dream wake up tatia come on fight it" I pleaded with my self using my palm to close my ears as the laughter was getting into my head.

"STOP!!  Please" I yell at the top of my voice.

A nudge and I felt myself falling, falling to my doom, maybe I will fall and wake up, the splash of water told me otherwise.

I felt myself sink further, my body felt rigid and heavy like a stone, I was a good swimmer thank goodness, I tried moving my legs and hands only to be sink deeper, I couldn't breath.

'I can't die like this please tatia move please I have so much I want to do' I thought as I saw myself drifting between conscious and unconsciousness.

Cough*****

I kept coughing out water.... I shivered slightly from the cold, I was wet from head to toe my bed which I laid on was wet, my ears kept ringing, I could see my mom talk but I couldn't hear I thing, my heartbeat was so loud as it pumped.

Watching my mom try to get me to talk, as soon as she snapped her fingers I got control of my body quickly rushing into her hands crying I couldn't help myself I thought I was going to die, I felt death, it was hurrible this was something I had never felt before I had always battled in my dreams.... today's dream was so much worst.

Sniffing as my mom wiped my tears, I hadn't told her or anyone what I went through to be honest there was no one to talk to, she pushed the wet stray hair covering my face not saying a thing.

I had expected her to ask how I had gotten myself and my bed wet, she didn't utter a word just staring blankly at me, I and my mom had the best relationship but lately she felt distinct like a total different person, she helped up telling me to take a hot bath while she changes my covers and bed.

*********** after putting on a baggy jeans matching it with a white singlet putting on a hoodie over my head, matching my lazy attire with a white sneakers. I looked at my self in the mirror, ink black hair that cascades down my back, a weird light skin tone like that of porcelain, rosy checks that matched my almost blood shot eye, dark circles graced under my eyes, my expression looked dull and tired probably from the sleep deprived nights, I tried smiling to get rid of my saddened expression.

Picking up my backpack stuffing my assignment in, unplugged my phone heading downstairs.

My mom was no where to be seen I figured she was probably getting ready for work sipping the hot chocolate, shouting a quick goodbye before heading out to school.
