"I have something for you," he said.
Lauren frowns as she listens to him. She was perplexed as she held her phone to her ears. She sighed and resolved to meet Noah in the park where they usually met.
When she arrived, Noah was already waiting for her on the bench.
"Mr. Brown," she said, and as he turned his back, a smile formed on the corner of his lips.
Lauren approached him as he stood.
"What is it?" she inquired.
"Can I court you, Ms. Lauren?" he asked directly.
Lauren stiffened up from where she was. While looking at him, she also swallowed.
