They both were beside each other and there was darkness around them, they could see nothing but each other.
They felt like moving forward or something was coming to them… a light, and they were blinded by it, as it neared them or vice versa. They saw four Primevel warriors ahead of them, with their hands pointed towards some stone, frozen in the moment. Fara and Varun moved ahead around them.
"The bird who can fly forever," Fara said looking at one of them.
"Was she that strong?" Varun asked.
"Maybe… she just told me that when I asked her name," Fara said.
"Too big of an alias… Who is the one opposite to her?" Varun asked.
"He is the H.O.D., the first one or something," Fara said, unsure.
"They both seem to have the same kind of armour," Varun said.
"Yeah… it looks different than yours though," Fara said moving behind the girl.
"Oh, I don't know. Never looked at myself in armour, so can't tell," Varun said.
"She doesn't have a gem behind her though, like you or the H.O.D. are supposed to," Fara said.
"Oh and this one ahead of her does, so maybe that's what is how we can differentiate," Varun said.
"Yeah, probably. But, why are we seeing this?" Fara asked.
"Wait, this is that vision right? Of their sacrifice. Alias told me about it," Varun said, still concentrated at H.O.D..
"Yeah… a moment ago the H.O.D. throws the stone-gem, the one you have. And the team came here to give their life to seal the stone. I and Sam didn't have an idea or could have stopped them," Fara said frowning.
"All heroic, with all due respect, but… he still is in armour and has a stone, at his back," Varun said.
"Maybe he found a way…?" Fara asked.
"But there also is the stone-gem behind him, Fara. You hear me or not?"
"It wasn't a moment ago… something happened in between the two scenarios," Fara said, realising.
"And I still have the stone-gem somehow," Varun said.
Everything blurred out again, before they could exchange more sentences, and they were back in the ground, resuming back to the moment ago. Fara got normal and shook the feeling off her head.
"That later, first things first," Varun said, Fara nodded.
Varun held up the spear in his right hand and put his other hand up front as a shield. Fara just looked at her blunt off sword and sighed.
"Here," Varun handed his sword which looked still fine, even after Dividing-multiplier, Morph and shiny Santa.
"Okay… let's get to the ass-kicking now," Fara said.
"Mr. Reckless and the Phoenix," Varun said.
"Against Santa Claus and Christmas… yeah, no… just the first part is fine I would say," Fara said.
"Yeah," Varun rolled his eyes.
They both finally stood against Morpheus as he seemed to be waiting for them to finish talking. He straightened himself and they both did too.
"You came with a team… now it's just the two of you. The world is unfair, isn't it?" Morpheus scoffed.
"We both are enough I would say," Fara said pointing her sword at Morpheus.
"The chance of getting struck by lightning normally is pretty low. But here I would say… ten percentages. And that's a lot," Morpheus said.
"Oh I'm lightning proof," Fara said.
Fara rotated backwards and then slashed her sword forward. In a down to up motion just as lightning struck towards her. The sword just jolted with light and did no harm to Fara, just like how lightning diffused around Varun's absorbers. Varun just looked at that in shock.
"How… how did you do that?" Varun asked.
"Future sight," Fara smirked.
"Wow, a future sight. Here's one, don't steal my spotlight or I will kill you," Varun said.
"Jealous," Fara snickered.
"You aren't strong enough to beat me," Morpheus said.
"Yeah, we aren't strong enough… but we are reckless enough to keep trying," Varun said.
Fara and Varun stepped forward against Morpheus, as he did too. Varun smashed the spear to Morpheus' head, which just angered him. Morpheus pushed Varun away, as Fara from behind Morpheus, slashed into the now visible armour gap between the two winged-armour pieces. Morpheus tried to look back but Varun kept him occupied. Fara wounded and slashed the back again, in a straight line.
"I call this the spine-seer," Fara said.
"Seriously…? You cut him that deep?" Varun asked.
"On it, he has tough skin," Fara said.
"Enough!" Morpheus groaned.
Morpheus put Varun to the ground and pinned him down with one leg on Varun's chest. He then turned behind and caught Fara by her neck and she just lost grasp from the sword.
"I will not be put down anymore!" Morpheus hissed.
"You got issues man!" Fara said, hitting Morpheus hands.
Morpheus lifted Fara up in the air and started choking her, as she coughed and fought to be set free.
"Guys, they are in trouble," Aria said looking at Fara and Varun.
"Use the portals… just use them you will be safe," Sandeep sir's voice echoed in everyone's mind.
"We need to go back and help them!" Jiant said.
Just then lightning struck at a distance from Jiant and he backed off. In the ground a portal was open and he struggled at the edge.
"Grab my hand!" Aria said running towards him.
Aria just stumbled into another portal which formed in between Jiant and her, as Jiant fell down the portal in the ground.
"Please… let her go," Varun pleaded to Morpheus.
A portal appeared right behind Fara just then and Varun could see a pair of hands coming out of it from the corner of his sight, but he was also about to die.
Morpheus saw the portal behind Fara and just let her go. The hands seemed to be the one who grabbed and pulled Fara, according to Varun.
"There, your friend in some dark place now," Morpheus scoffed.
Varun could see only Adam and Maaz at a good distance, Jay and Flint were nowhere. Adam looked back at Varun and then looked at Maaz who was about to take a portal.
"Come… we must go!" Maaz said.
"But, Varun," Adam said, staring straight at Varun but frozen at his spot.
"He wouldn't want us to… we can't help him alone!" Maaz said.
"We can't just leave him," Adam said.
"He wouldn't want you to die for him," Maaz said.
Adam just stood there clueless of what to decide. Varun wanted to scream to him to 'go away' but Morpheus pressed his leg on Varun's chest harder, which just made him cough.
Maaz ran to Adam and grabbed him. Adam didn't even resist as Maaz just dragged him away into the portal. All the portals closed, except for Adam and Maaz's. Morpheus turned to Varun.
"All alone now," Morpheus said.
"I chose this," Varun said coughing.
"Oh… quiet a hero. No more portals to run. I'm too invincible for you to kill. Was your choice to die?" Morpheus asked laughing.
"Yes," Varun said without thinking twice as Morpheus' laugh just faded away into visible confusion. "But… I do have a way out though."
Something, through the fog in the smaller ground, came flying towards Morpheus and hit his leg, which he had on Varun. Varun got up and turned towards where it came from and could see someone in the fog. He couldn't make out who it was but it felt like either Flint or Jay, who he didn't see entering a portal.
Morpheus hit Varun sideways, as Varun fell to the ground again. The last portal finally closed, which he was planning to escape from. Varun tried and got up, but Morpheus kicked him away again.
Varun had fallen onto his stomach to the ground. Morpheus seemed to know that Varun was tired finally and took small steps, to reach behind Varun.
Morpheus grabbed both of Varun's arms from behind as Varun's legs floated up. Morpheus stomped Varun's right leg into the ground as Varun groaned through pain. There was a crack in the ground and Varun couldn't feel his leg.
"That is for scaring my best friend," Morpheus said.
"Oh, he got pretty scared for a nightmare," Varun laughed through pain.
Morpheus kicked the other leg into the ground as Varun groaned and cried through pain, spitting out blood.
"That, for your puny puns you keep making," Morpheus hissed.
"Let me go," Varun moaned, barely getting the words out of his mouth.
Morpheus stretched both of Varun's hands as much as he could as Varun just groaned lightly, without even trying to escape, as he couldn't.
"You did try to stop me from getting to my parents, but failed. But you did try to be a pain all this time. How could I not treat you for that?"
"I… don't want to go," Varun whimpered.
"I'll make it quick for you then little kid," Morpheus said aiming his leg to Varun's back.
"My… Team… W," Varun whispered but this didn't reach Morpheus probably.
Morpheus lifted his leg up and hit hardly against Varun's back, but the stone-gem being present there, caused back a recoil to Morpheus. Morpheus let go as there was pain in his own leg now, Varun just had fallen a metre away, without even moving an inch.
Varun wanted to talk, but couldn't… but probably even then would make a pun anyways. He couldn't feel his legs or move his hands and was on his last breaths.
Varun just lay there as all he thought of was his Team-W… which he meant by his friends. And one last weird thought went through his mind too, at this last moment. Orangutans, they are cute.
Varun just scoffed to himself as he just gave up on moving and his mind shut down finally.

_______________Author's note:-
For the seventh time, this was Varun. And this was my story until now. Now it's yours I would say… but no pressure. Just enjoy the opportunity-well, I already am clear on that part I hope.
Without boring you anymore, I'll end this. And take a deep sleep, hoping for no wake, but maybe in the dream realm… at least for one last dream, I hope. She might be waiting for me like she said she would. Or maybe it was just a sweet lie.
Do you wonder how the end is…? Well, you just negotiate for one last try, one last chance, that one last moment, one last meeting 'that someone special'. You won't get it surely, but it's beautiful to wait for. And a peaceful end… though I'm really not at peace right now. But all this… did end.
I know this may not reach to my Team-W. But I really am sorry… for being such a reckless being. I hope there was a way I could live up to some things, but I'm gone now, leaving only this story. And someone new to replace me… someone better than me. An end to Rahambose.
