Chapter 52 - Are you two going to ditch me once more for some amusement?

My Pov

Once more, a group of three carriages bearing a skull symbol with a variety of ancient writings and numbers surrounding it in a circle. Again, people will have a hazy notion that this symbol indicates the passage of time, even though they have no idea what the symbol actually means.

It was reported that a group of three carriages was seen entering the area where the nobles lived, and the locals seemed to be getting the idea that if this carriage group showed up, one of the noble families would vanish off the face of the earth.

Obviously, they hold this belief, and I have no doubt that they are currently attempting to ascertain from both camps exactly where they fit in.

But I think it's pointless because I'm sure they can't do anything, and if one of them tries to block me, who can now be compared to the spearhead of the Empress' anger, then that individual will be crushed mercilessly.

Suddenly, the carriage I was riding in came to a stop in front of the residence of a noble family. At the time, I was trying to come up with a plan to lure one of the noble families to stand in my way so they could block my path.

After that, I said to the impatient Alice, who was standing next to me after we arrived at the residence of our subsequent target.

"Emilia and I will be waiting for you here, and you and Sascha and Sucht can come in just like you did yesterday."

"Are you two going to ditch me once more for some amusement?" Said Alice with a tone of disbelief.

'Perhaps she thought that when she got off the carriage, Emilia and I would leave immediately like we did yesterday.'

But I merely gave Alice reassurance by smiling gently at her and assuring her, "Of course, I won't break my promise, and you can settle your business in peace."

I had to shove Alice out of the carriage because she was still unsure, and then I had to shut the door as tightly as I could because I could hear Alice trying to bang her way in.

However, after realizing that the carriage I was riding in had no plans to go anywhere, Alice came to a stop and smiled excitedly at me.

Because of this, Alice walked towards the gate without any further ado, followed by Sascha and Sucht, as well as a few female soldiers.

When I looked out the window, I could see how careless Alice was as she brashly kicked open the gate to the noble family's residence.

"I have no doubt that if you handle this situation, each and every one of the aristocratic mansions that you check out will be leveled to the ground."

The person sitting in front of me, Emilia, attempted to initiate a conversation with me, and of course, I could see the sarcastic smile on her face as she said that.

It doesn't matter to me how many of them disappear from my sight because there will be many more to take their place.

I said as I looked at Emilia, who was now looking at me in the same way I was looking at her.

"I just wanted to tell you that I think your red eyes are absolutely stunning."

As soon as she heard that, Emilia changed the direction that she was looking in immediately, as she said.

"What is it that you are saying out of the blue?"

"I say this with all seriousness, your two crimson eyes conceal a mystery that I don't even know myself," I said.

I am not in a rush to find out what the secret is because I know that I will discover it in the not-too-distant future.

"Instead of talking about my eyes, could you please tell me what was written in the letter that the Aktuell family sent?"

Emilia tried to change the subject after she noticed that I kept staring into her eyes, which made it difficult for her to concentrate on what was being said in front of her.

"They are willing to assist me in the Klein Kingdom, but at the same time, they are soliciting my assistance in the Ausgeburt Empire."

Allow me to bring your attention once more to the conflict that arose as a result of the interaction of two empires, with the Klein kingdom serving as a buffer zone between them.

The first Empire was called the Ausgeburt empire, and it was led by a beast that had a ravenous appetite for battle. The people who lived there were also made up of many different kinds of beasts, and they were ruled by the beast.

They have a predilection for keeping humans as slaves, and as a result, if you travel to the territory ruled by their Empire, you will notice that humans are treated in the cities in the same manner as the beasts that roam the countryside.

To avoid becoming slaves or being devoured by the beast of Ausgeburt, it is absolutely crucial that you arrive in this Empire with sufficient strength. If not, you run the risk of being captured by them.

In the meantime, there is an empire known as the Unbesiegt empire, which is inhabited by people of the human race. However, similar to the Ausgeburt empire, the people of the Unbesiegt empire take great pleasure in enslaving members of the beast race.

Because the body of a member of the beast race is significantly more powerful than that of a typical human, members of the beast race are frequently employed as slaves to perform labour-intensive tasks for humans, such as cultivating land and constructing structures. Additionally, female beasts are highly sought after for the purpose of lust gratification, making them very popular in the marketplace.

Because of the equal society policies of my cherished Empire, the Zeitgeist empire, it is not uncommon to see humans and other species coexisting in this Empire.

But there is one thing that must not be broken. If you want to live in peace within the Zeitgeist empire, you must not violate the rules, and you must not oppose the imperial family, which is my Kaiser family.

Is it cruel? Even if I wanted to murder an entire village in order to conduct my experiments on souls, no one in this world would care even if I did it because no one gives a damn about anything in this world.

Because they are all aware that the only path left for them to take is death... yes, death... death... death... until, in the end, everything is silent... and no one dares to talk about it... because they are all dead.

"Why are you smiling all of a sudden and not continuing what you were saying?"

Emilia's words, as she was currently looking at me with a perplexed expression, were the ones that roused me from my daydream.

I just gave her a friendly smile and continued, "As you are well aware, the Augesburt Empire is also home to a noble family named Aktuell."

When Emilia heard my explanation, she was initially taken aback, but she quickly recovered and asked, "Do you mean the Aktuell family that controls the coastal areas of the Ausgeburt empire?"

"Yeah, the two are connected, and now that you know that, can you guess what they want in exchange?"

Emilia complied without displaying any signs of surprise when I requested that she sit next to me while simultaneously making a gesture to her.

Emilia's response to this was, "do they want you to interfere in matters of power in the Ausgeburt Empire?"

I gave Emilia's adorable cheek a light pinch, and she cutely puffed out her cheeks as if she didn't like what I was doing.

"To be more specific, they want my assistance in consolidating their position within the Ausgeburt Empire to the same extent as..."

I continued speaking by softly whispering the rest of my words into Emilia's ear, and Emilia, who heard it, immediately showed an expression of surprise. However, it was only for a moment because immediately after that, her face showed a serious expression as though she was thinking about something.
