Suyin stared at Meixiu, her cheeks slowly blushing as she looked away from her.
Meixiu stares at Suyin, her eyebrows furrowing slightly as she gets the feeling Suyin is getting.
"Your stomach's aching?"
Meixiu asks, catching Suyin off guard. Yongrui raises an eyebrow, his eyes looking at the smaller woman's stomach, and he quickly scrunches his nose.
"I can feel the intense pain in your stomach, Ms. Jia."
Suyin's eyes went towards Yongrui, her eyes brightening as she quickly walked towards the old man.
"Mr. Qiao, please do something."
"You've been feeling that for a week now?"
Yongrui's eyes glare at Meixiu; his feet are walking towards the taller woman, and he can't help but look at her up and down.
"How can you say something without any evidence?"
Yongrui couldn't help but sneer at Meixiu. The taller woman raises her eyebrows, her eyes looking at him up and down.
"You have a disease yourself that you can't even treat yourself."
Yongrui stops on his track, his eyes looking at Meixiu in confusion, before he hears footsteps behind him.
"Mr. Qiao, please stop fighting with her; just heal our Young Lady."
Yongrui went towards Suyin, inviting the woman to sit down on the couch as Yaoting watched behind him.
"Ms. Jia, how long has this been?"
Suyin looks at Meixiu, seeing the woman watching them from the top of the stairs, before she smiles widely.
"A week."
Yongrui looks at Meixiu, his eyebrows furrowing upon hearing the same thing that the taller woman at the stairs said earlier.
"Did you copy her just to not embarrass herself?"
Yaoting looked between Suyin and Meixiu; he couldn't help but snort as he stopped himself from laughing.
Suyin looks at Yongrui, her eyebrows furrowing, as she shakes her head and stands up from her chair.
"If you're going to think that way, then I suggest you see yourself out; I don't need people mocking Ms. Song."
Suyin said, her eyes looking at Yaoting before she walked towards Meixiu and Renshu, bowing down at the taller woman.
"Your stomach ache is not that serious; it probably has something to do with your room arrangement."
Suyin's ear perked up at what Meixiu said, and she furrowed her eyebrows before Renshu walked towards her.
"Ms. Song wanted to see your bedroom."
"Oh, is that so? Then we can come inside."
Suyin invited Meixiu and Renshu into her room. Yaoting sighs and shakes his head, his hand guiding the healer down.
"Ms. Jia, that woman doesn't know anything!"
Yongrui tried to persuade Suyin, but the woman only glared at him and shut her door.
Suyin looks at her back and smiles at Meixiu, her head bowing down as a sign of apology.
"It's fine, Suyin; he didn't even know anything about me."
Suyin and Renshu look at Meixiu in admiration. They couldn't help but have their eyes teary as they looked at Meixiu, who looked around the room.
Meixiu didn't hear anything behind her, causing her to look and furrow her eyebrows, seeing the two have their eyes teary.
"Did I say something wrong?"
"Ms. Song, I couldn't help but feel happy for your kindness, even though Yongrui didn't deserve it."
Suyin went in her direction, her head bowing down to show her respect for the taller woman standing in front of her.
Renshu looks at the ground, his head nodding a little as he smiles widely at the thought of Meixiu.
'Ms. Song, your father raised you well; I couldn't thank Mr. Song enough for the kind-hearted person he raises.'
"Everyone deserves it; they just probably didn't know what to do in those situations."
Meixiu spoke before patting Suyin on the shoulder.
"Ok, I found the problem already."
Meixiu spoke as Renshu approached in their direction. Her eyes nodded as she pointed at the plant that was lying by the window.
"The best decision you made was not to remove the plant from the window; it lessened the pain."
Suyin looks at where Meixiu is pointing, seeing the plant that she intended to throw in the trash as it didn't seem to look good in her bedroom.
"Your bed is the reason for your stomach ache; it is on a pipeline, causing the snake dragon to get trapped in your bedroom."
Suyin and Renshu look at Meixiu in confusion.
"A snake dragon? How can it get trapped?"
Meixiu looks at the book on top of the table; her lips curve into a smile as she goes towards it and picks it up.
"This book was cursed; whoever opens it will get a great stomach ache that can lead to death."
"This book is a death book."
Meixiu shrugs her shoulder and puts it back on the table, her eyes looking at Suyin's bed before she looks at the two in front.
"The only solution I can conclude is to have the pipeline open and probably have it fixed to get around the house, as the snake dragon can also generate luck for you in the house."
Meixiu looks back at Renshu and nods her head as the man approaches her. Her head went towards his ears as she whispered at him.
"Suyin is tired from the constant aching of her stomach, and sooner or later bad luck is to come, so as early as we can do the solution, do it already."
Renshu nodded and went towards the girl. His head leaning onto her ear, he whispered the same thing Meixiu told him. Suyin couldn't help but widen her eyes, looking at the taller woman in front of her.
Suyin nodded, her body approaching Meixiu before she smiled widely and bows down at the woman.
"Ms. Song, I'm so thankful that Renshu manages to ask for your presence before disaster happens."
"I'm glad that I can help."
Meixiu grabbed her phone when she felt it vibrate in her pocket. Her eyebrows furrowed when she saw the unknown number texting her again.
She went out a little away from the two, her fingers clicking onto the message the unknown number sent her.
Her eyes stared at the photo the number sent, and she couldn't help but tighten her grip on her phone.
The number sent a photo of Xiaohui standing in front of a vending machine inside the Zheng Company.
She couldn't help but scoff, causing Renshu and Suyin to look at her in confusion.
"Are you alright, Ms. Song?"
Suyin asks as Meixiu nods and puts her phone back in her pocket.
"I'll have to go; I still have something to do."
"Oh, would you want me to drop you off?"
Renshu offered, causing Meixiu to look at Suyin before nodding her head.
"If it's alright with Suyin."
The mentioned woman walks in Meixiu's direction.
"Ms. Song, I don't have the right to order people under your wing."
Suyin said, her eyes looking at the ground as Meixiu smiled and shook her head.
"Suyin, considering our status, you're still in the lead."
Meixiu spoke before patting the smaller woman on her shoulder.
Her hands fall back on her sides, and she looks at the man behind Suyin and nods as the man bows down and goes out of the room.
"Well, I'll have to go out now."
"Let me help you out."
Suyin keeps her head lower as Meixiu walks ahead.
She follows the taller woman behind, thinking of what else to say to start another conversation with Meixiu.
But her luck is not on her side as they finally reach the entrance of her mansion, with Renshu already at the front and hand-opening the car door.
Meixiu went towards the passenger seat, but before she could go in, she looked back at Suyin.
"Please do as I said; things are just about to get messy if you don't do it."
