The door to the brownstone lets out a creak of rebellion as I swing it open, finding a handsome frat boy I know on my stoop. I welcome Bradley in with a smile as his own security follows him. I'm glad to see it because if Sin is responsible for taking out his father, I have no doubt in my mind that they would be willing to take out Bradley as well. He's close to us, so he's a threat.
"Hey. Can I get you guys something to drink? Coffee? Tea? Beer?"
"Tea would be great if you have it."
I nod, crossing the living space to the kitchen to fill the kettle. At that point, I can hear Lexington coming down the stairs as they let out a resounding creek that echoes against the old brick walls. "Bradley," Lex greets him, and I can hear them exchanging a manly handshake followed by a back slap. "My condolences about your father. I know how hard it can be to lose a parent."
Bradley clears his throat. "I know. Thanks, man."
