About a thousand tears after dropping Lenore off at the airport, Lexington and I are on our way down the Pacific Coast Highway just enjoying the fresh air with the top down. I've tied my long hair back under a Dolce and Gabanna scarf, but Lexington's overgrown Locks are dancing in the wind as it blows overhead.
We haven't had much of a chance for quality time between the two of us lately. Yes, we now live together and therefore sleep next to each other each night. We also go to school together and both are in the same secret society. But there's a difference between time and quality time. Yes, I want to solve my sister's case, and yes I'm very involved in the investigation and underbelly of Windsor, but beyond that, I've grown to care deeply about people. Lexington, in particular.
About an hour north of LA, Lexington surprises me by pulling off the road in an area I don't recognize.
