After spending an hour being the sad girl in Lex's shower I was able to convince him to take me back to my dorm to think. Luckily, Jade was still with the girls when I got home, so I was able to get my running gear on and get out the door in record time. Despite feeling the exhaustion in every part of my body, I know I need this run.
The soles of my shoes start pounding the pavement and with each point of impact, I can feel the frustration leach from my body. It's a cool morning, but not cold by any means. The slight cloud cover that came in off the ocean this morning hasn't faded yet, so it's the perfect time for a run. I let Lana Del Rey's Ultraviolence blare in my ears as I run from campus as fast as my legs can carry me.
