Genvieve
I awoke to a darkened room. The sunshine from earlier in the evening has evaporated leaving behind a sullen twilight that spills into the room through the exposed windows. A full moon is cresting the horizon reflecting the distant sunlight to the ocean like a reflective coin. Picking up my phone from the side table, I see that it's now eleven at night. Fuck. There goes all my good sleeping tonight. I've never been one of those people that can nap and retain the ability to get to sleep at a reasonable hour later.
