Genvieve
I'm awoken to the sound of my heartbeat in my ears timed against a throb in my head with each beat. Thump thump thump. Before I even open my eyes I'm able to register an ache in my shoulders that is reminiscent of the times I've had my arms pulled behind me for too long, like my first night in Sin, for instance.
A kaleidoscope of greys and neutral shadows meets me when I finally pull my eyelids open, my mind struggling to catalog the sights I find since I'm unable to place myself. Where the fuck am I? It only takes a few seconds for my reality to come crashing back to me.
