If Elaine was honest she had totally forgotten about repercussions that had come with her foolish outburst. She had been told to wait out side the CEOs office whilst she reflected about her actions. Sung-hoon hadn't said much to her , he just kept sighing and sighing till he eventually just reprimanded with a few chores.
Elaine was quite visually blessed according to the Korean beauty standard she was quite tall and pale with doe eyes and small thin lips. Thanks to it she was awfully popular amongst the Korean audiences and had even managed her name to get mentioned abroad even with the whole vampire pandemic. She was a vital member to the company and had often gotten away with any mistakes she caused and likewise what would have resulted in firing for someone else had just been a few extra chores for her. Chores that she wouldn't even do in the end thanks to the help of daehyun.
But for some reason she felt something was off , security at the company had nearly tripled and most of their staff had disappeared. Instead of managers , trained body guards flood the halls and Elaine couldn't help but wonder had she taken a part in this change. And so she asked quite blatantly so.
" What's up with all the guards" she questioned her eyes narrowing suspiciously, " your still the same a girl I met at the café " he responded dodging the question. Elaine has just kept staring at him , asides from being disrespectful Elaine was extremely stubborn. Once she set her mind to something , she wouldn't stop till she accomplished it. Eventually the old man caved in , as years went by his patience thinned. "Well you must have seen the popularity of the video we issued to film well we have reason to believe that it has triggered a few undesired reactions from vampires " he informed her despite the fact he tried to phrase it as nice and calm as he could Elaine could notice the severity of this situation.
Most or nearly all the vampires had known that the idols were fake , after all how could such 'reputable ' hunters never actually be seen with a vampire. And so they dismissed the videos as nothing more than what they are a cheap attempt to fool the humans but she guessed that there actual participation in a hunt had shocked the vampires. " Let them be mad after all those blood thirsty rats deserve it " she proudly claimed. The audacity of vampires to get mad at them recording the incident when the vampires had ruthlessly murdered thousands , maybe even millions of people worldwide.
America had been hit the worst with this raid of vampires and the whole continent had suffered massively. West of Europe had managed to close their gates quickly and the temperature climate had helped the likes of UK ( turns out vampires do not prefer rain ) yet the Eastern areas had all gotten annihilated with Russia no longer existing anymore. The South Asian counties had managed to use water to their advantage by creating a barricade between them and vampires but who knows how long that would last. And only Oceania had managed to come unscathed , with there being little to no vampires there but the animals there was scary by themselves and they faced constant droughts. The creatures did all this yet were furious over one video let them be thought Elaine as walked away confidently. Vampires can't even walk out during the day due to the blazing sun.
