It has been five years since the world had been attacked by vampires - vicious blood thirsty creatures. No one knows where they came from, some say that vampires have always existed yet stayed hidden in the shadows whilst others blame the government claiming that vampires had been created via a chemical leak. well it doesn't really matter to Elaine , A young black haired adult turning twenty this year.
At first she couldn't believe the news, the invasion of the vampires had started out as a few murders. Most professionals protraying the mysterious scars on the victim's neck as nothing more than a delusional killer hoping to scare people. And like that the whole world dismissed the first incidents of vampires attacks , it was only four months in, till an actual video of an attack surfaced online. The video showcased multiple people stuck in a mall and a terrifying creature - who seemed human at first glance - approaching. It started with the creature ruthlessly murdering one of the innocent victims by snapping her head off, she was a young teenage girl who appeared no older then 16. she had been sporting a uniform when she was killed, the unnamed child most likely just arrived from school and Elaine couldn't help but wonder how the poor girl's parents were feeling. Like always they probably sent their child off to school only for her to never return.
You see unlike humans , vampires lack any sort of moral compass for the beast had continued on from the first victim to a bunch of school children. At most they were six years old but that didn't stop the creature from completely annihilating them. And after the viral video ended, leaving the fate of all the other stuck humans up to debate.And within this handful was Elaine's sister Ye won. And as of today it's been nearly five years since she had last saw her .
Elaine was Fifteen when it had occurred, like usual she had returned from school and had been resting in her room till she heard the ringing of a phone. Ding Ding. It had been then when the devastating news had been passed to her. Elaine was neither naive nor was she foolish , she didn't believe that her sister was alive. After all how she possibly run away from a creature who had inhumane speed and was strong enough to snap a body in half. Instead this incident had fueled her anger, against the vampires who had caused this mess and against the humans who had simply dismissed the evidence of vampires. Perhaps she thought that had people accepted the truth earlier then the murders could have been prevented and that her lovely sister may have still been alive.
And with this ideology she never once felt guilty about her job. she didn't mind the fact that she posed for cameras and smiled whilst she held guns. She didn't mind that she was tricking innocent little viewers into believing that the life of a vampire hunter had been a glorious and reputable one. she didn't mind that she hid that fact that entire army's factors and navy squads had been wiped out by vampires. All she did was pose whilst the citizens of Korea praised her and the others. Elaine was a vampire hunter....
