Hi guys, first of all, I want to apologize for taking this long to make an announcement and going radio silent after my previous update last year. The past year has been an extremely stressful journey. Dating back to my previous update, my mental health has deteriorated from stress and overwork which has affected my physical health. Because of that, I had to catch up with so much schoolwork that I had no time for anything else. To at least lighten the burden, I needed to sacrifice something to make time for school, and what I decided back then was writing and reading novels. If I continue to juggle everything all at once, my body will collapse just like what happened last time. Hence, for the past year, all I did was focus on university but I noticed that it only drained me more. After some self-reflection, I now know that I need to take school easy and recharge by doing the things I love.
As to why I didn't update you guys, I just felt like I was failing you guys by not delivering the chapters I promised, so I was ashamed of myself and did not have the courage to face that. I was scared of seeing notifications from the sites I published because I knew I had to stop writing and officially stating that I was going on a long hiatus or perhaps giving up on the novel completely made me feel like I gave up writing, gave up on the thing I most love to do. That's why I did not leave any announcements and only distanced myself. For that cowardice behavior, I am deeply sorry, especially to those who continued to wait for my return for the past year.
It's still finals in my uni, so I'm still extremely busy and I came back because I missed writing, so much so that I began having dreams of writing happily on my laptop. That's why I decided to open this app again, and when I saw the messages you guys left me, it made me wanna cry. I immediately left school and got home to write this announcement.
Once exams are over and summer is here, I will finally continue writing. I will try to update the remaining chapters of the latest arc, weekly starting next week. As to what would be my uploading schedule, I still have to think about it since I need to balance it with my school and other things. I will announce it when I finish uploading the chapters for this arc.
