"Kikaru, David. Are you two okay?" Kaey shouted as he walked towards them.
He saw that Queen was still conscious but kneeling on the grass bleeding. He also noticed that Jack was laying unconsciously on the grass.
"I can safely assume you two won too, then?" He said with a tone of happiness.
"Yeah, but Kikaru got cut badly. We need to see someone quickly." David said.
"It's alright.. I'm not dying from something like this. We should first ask her why they're here." Kikaru said with a tone of anger in his voice. He put an emphasis on 'her'.
"Y'sure?.. alright then."
The three of them walked over to Queen. She was breathing heavily, looking at them with a lot of disgust. Before they could even say anything, she spoke with a venomous tone, as if she knew what they were going to say.
"I'm not… telling you worms… anything.."
"Oh? What makes you think tha-"
"Shut up!" She interrupted David.
"You guys… will feel… his wrath!" A small, subtle drop was heard by Kikaru.
"LOOK OUT!" He shouted as the three of them jumped backwards.
A small explosion was heard as smoke enveloped them. Queen picked up the unconscious King. "Sayonara, morons." She shouted as she quickly dashed away with an unusual speed.
Han came running back, carrying someone on his back.
"Master, what happened?!" He shouted, looking at the three of them.
"Two of them got away, so it seems."
"Only two, though." Kikaru looked at the still unconscious Jack.
"They abandoned him. How awful." He said, there was a bit of sadness in his voice.
Han kneeled down as a woman got off his back. It was Fen. She was carrying a bag with a lot of medical equipment.
"Mom?" Kaey said confused.
"Don't forget that I'm a medical expert." She said as she quickly waddled over to Kikaru. She shoved two wads up his bleeding nose and began to quickly and efficiently close the wound on his arm. Kikaru just sat on the grass speechless. After a few minutes Fen finished.
"There, don't put too much pressure on it or it will reopen the wound. It should heal in about a week. Are you two hurt too?" She said in rapid succession.
David shook his head. "Only a few bruises, but those will heal themselves."
"No, mom. I'm fine. I'm sorry to have worried you, that I am."
Fen just walked up to her son and gave him a hug.
"You didn't worry me. I know you trained hard for moments like these… I'm proud of you." Kaey didn't respond back. Fen let go of him soon after.
"I should report back to the chief. I must make my leave now. Han, Mom, could you two take care of the unconscious man there." He said as he turned around before being stopped by Kikaru.
"We'll go along if you don't mind." He said.
Kaey just nodded. Han looked at Fen as the three of them walked towards the Shrine.
"Don't you think Kaey acted a bit different?" He said as he picked up Jack.
"Ho-Ho-Ho. So it seems, so it seems."
