"Ah ah..." The waiter was a skinny middle-aged man, who was now smiling and waving at her, signaling that she couldn't go in.
However, upon seeing Xuemei, he instantly understood and let her in with widened eyes and an apologetic look on his face towards Lin Jiaojiao.
Lin Jiaojiao gave him a slight nod without showing any sign of blame.
After entering the courtyard inside the shop, Hehua was busy cooking. It was almost noon by now.
"Noble One." Hehua was surprised to see Lin Jiaojiao entering the kitchen, as Xuemei had previously mentioned that the noble person would come by today, but hadn't shown up yet. Hehua had thought that something might have prevented her visit.
Lin Jiaojiao sniffed and smelled the frying cabbage – it looked very fresh, with a faint sweet scent in the air.
"You go ahead, I'm just looking around." Lin Jiaojiao said.
