The air hummed with anticipation as they dashed out the door, their laughter echoing through the hallway as they raced to their destination. It had been a while since they were able to laugh freely and they all relished the opportunity.
Arriving at the company building, they wasted no time, their footsteps echoing down the sleek, modern corridors. As they reached Nuri's spacious recording studio and office, excitement crackled in the air like static electricity.
The walls, adorned with colorful posters and framed photographs, spoke of Nuri's journey – a visual tapestry of triumphs, setbacks, and moments of pure inspiration. Strings of fairy lights draped from the ceiling, casting a soft, ethereal glow over the space, while plush bean bags and cozy cushions on a leather sofa beckoned guests to sink into comfort.
In one corner, shelves overflowed with books and trinkets, each item a cherished treasure imbued with memories and meaning. A vintage record player sat atop a weathered wooden crate, its melodic tunes weaving through the air like a whispered promise of adventure.
The studio itself was a marvel of technology, with state-of-the-art equipment lining the walls and a sleek control panel at the center.
Nuri's office had gleaming desk, cluttered with notebooks, pens and scrap pieces of paper – tools of the trade that bore the marks of countless hours of dedication and devotion. Nearby, a canvas stretched across an easel, its surface alive with the vibrant hues of a work in progress, each stroke a testament to the gifter's creativity.
The media team had everything already set up for them when they arrived and with a quick bow, Nuri and Du Feng, Yuna, Nuri, Junwoo and Haesung took their places on the sofa, the studio bathed in soft, ambient lighting that cast a warm, inviting glow over the room. Mingjue, Momo, Boss, and Ibuki stood off-camera, their supportive presence palpable even from afar.
The atmosphere in the studio was electric as they went live, the chat flooded with messages from eager fans clamoring for their attention. With a shared smile, Nuri and the others dove into the stream
Nuri, the anchor of the group, took center stage, his voice steady and confident as he introduced his fellow soulmates. "Hey everyone, I'm Nuri, and I'm here with Du Feng, Yuna, Junwoo, and Haesung," he announced, a proud smile gracing his lips. As you know, Min Hyeong hinted at introducing his soul group to the world. There are a few more of us who were not able to be here due to security issues. But the 5 of us are here to introduce ourselves to you as his soul group."
As Nuri spoke with fans, Daeshim suddenly burst into frame, his eyes wide with excitement. Nuri couldn't help but chuckle as he scooped his son into his arms, proudly presenting him to the fans. "And this little bundle of joy is Daeshim, my son."
The chat exploded with messages of love and excitement, fans expressing their admiration for the talented group and curiosity about Daeshim.
Nuri, Du Feng, Junwoo, and Haesung exchanged playful glances, their excitement palpable as they prepared to engage with their fans.
Du Feng, the ever-charming actor, grinned as he scanned through the chat, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Alright, let's get started! What burning questions do you have for us today?"
Nuri let Daeshim play with his hair as he used the tablet to find questions for them to answer. " Feng Ge, The warriors wants about your latest project?"
"Sure thing," Du Feng replied with a charming grin. "I'm currently filming a new drama series called when you are near, and I can't wait for you all to see it. Our lovely Haesung and I are working hard to bring you something exciting."
Yuna's eyes sparkled as she leaned into Nuri to read another question off of the tablet. "Junnie-yah, what's your favorite memory from filming your latest movie?"
Junwoo chuckled, recalling a particularly funny moment on set. "There was this one scene where Haesung accidentally tripped and fell into a pile of cushions. We couldn't stop laughing for hours. Every time I turned to Haesung to give him directions, I just burst into laughter."
Haesung grinned sheepishly, waving at the camera. "Hey, accidents happen, right?"
As the others teased Haesung, Nuri noticed something in the chat. A question he choose to ignore it rather than bring it to the others attention
15 minutes in Daeshim got bored and wiggled out his father's hold to go sit at his desk
I am taking him to the gardens Mingjue said through the bond before going over to Daeshim and whispering something into his year. Daeshim eagerly nodded his head and the two of them left the studio hand in hand.
Fans asked where Daeshim went and Nui was quick to tell them that Daeshim went with one of his trusted people to do some exploring.
Yuna, with her infectious smile, read out the other question from a fan, "What's the most challenging role you've ever had to portray?"
Du Feng leaned forward, his expression thoughtful as he considered the question. "For me, it was definitely the role of a tortured artist in my last film," he replied, his voice tinged with emotion. "It required delving deep into the character's psyche, and it was emotionally draining, but ultimately incredibly rewarding."
Haesung nodded in agreement, adding, "I think every role presents its own set of challenges, but that's what makes acting so fulfilling. It pushes us to grow and explore new aspects of ourselves."
Another question popped up on the screen, this time directed at Du Feng, "How do you prepare for your roles as an actor?"
Du Feng grinned, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "I'm a bit of a method actor, so I really immerse myself in the character's world," he explained. "I'll spend hours researching, practicing different mannerisms, and really trying to understand what makes the character tick."
Nuri chimed in, "And sometimes, we'll even help each other out by running lines together and offering feedback. It's a collaborative process that really brings out the best in all of us."
"Here's another one for you, Feng Ge," she said, turning to the handsome actor, "What's your favorite role you've ever played?"
Du Feng's eyes lit up with excitement as he answered, "Oh, that's a tough one! But I think I have to go with my role in 'Moonlight Sonata.' It was such a challenging and rewarding experience."
Haesung, the enigmatic actor known for his intense performances, chuckled as he read through the chat.
" Haesung," Yuna said, a mischievous glint in her eye, "What's your guilty pleasure?"
Haesung's lips curled into a smirk as he replied, "I have to admit, I'm a sucker for cheesy romantic comedies. Don't tell anyone!"
As the live stream continued, the bond between the idols and their fans grew stronger with each passing moment. They laughed together, shared stories, and connected on a deeper level, united by their love for entertainment and their shared experiences.
Then the thing that they were all dreading happened. Yuna showed Du Feng the comment before turning to Nuri and handing him the tablet. After quickly reading what Yuna showed him, Nuri's smile faltered for a moment before he composed himself, his voice firm as he addressed the comment head-on.
"I understand that not everyone may understand or agree with soul groups, but for us, it's a bond that goes beyond friendship. It's about unconditional love and support."
Now that Nuri had started the dreaded topic, Du Feng, ever the protector of his group, didn't hesitate to speak up, his voice firm and unwavering.
"I know a lot of you have a negative look on soul bonds involving multiple people but believe me when I say this our bond is real," he declared, his gaze steady as he addressed the skeptics. "We may not fit into your conventional notions of love and family, but our connection runs deeper than you could ever imagine our soul group is a source of strength and support for each other. We don't need to justify our bond to anyone."
Junwoo nodded in agreement, his expression serious. "It's comments like these that make people like us hesitant to open up about our soul group. But we've learned to embrace who we are and the love we share."
The chat fell silent for a moment, the weight of their words hanging in the air. But soon, messages of support and understanding flooded in, reminding Nuri and his soulmates that for everyone who hated them, there were 10 more who cared.
Amidst the chatter, fans clamored to hear the story of how the soul group met, eager to learn more about the origins of their unbreakable bond.
Junwoo looked up from his phone where he was monitoring the chat. "Nuri-yah, the warriors want to know how you met Mini Hyeong."
Nuri shared a sad smile with the rest of his soulmates before turning to the camera. Nuri's eyes twinkled with nostalgia as he began to recount the tale. " How I met heyong is a very interesting story …."
