Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 Shadows

Junho tilted the chair forward and back a few times. The old man on the wooden chair was too frightened to say anything and hanged onto the chair for his life. He knew that if he made any movement, Junho would let go of the chair and he would have kissed the floor. The Karen had come to realization that she was not someone he could mess with. The owner of this café was different from his other competitors that he attacked before. The guy behind him threatening his life was much more unreasonable and crazier then he was. "Stop this sh*t!! Your insane!! I'll sue you for attempted murder!" yelped the old man.

Junho tilted the chair back 45 degrees and stayed still. She froze for a second and the man on the chair had thought that his threat had been finally successful. Just when he gave out a breath of relief his chair began to move backwards with him still on it. Junho was dragging the chair with the man on it towards the exit. She then twisted the chair and dumped the old man out. "You have no evidence~ and.... the customer's are all on my side darling~ You could still try though, up to u!" smirked Junho as she gently closed the door at his face.

When the show ended the customers went back to their previous chattering. Junho also resumed her customer service. "Ring ring ring" rang Junho's phone in her left pocket of her uniform. Junho was wearing a black trouser with black pants inside her apron uniform. "Wei~ who is this~" asked Junho in a polite tone. ".... Very funny, r u busy right now? Should I go help out?" asked Ray on the other side of the phone. "U practicing hard and debuting is helping out" replied Junho while washing the white coffee cups. "Okay then I'll keep practicing... Bye" said Ray as she immediately ended the call. Ray had been an idol trainee at an entertainment agency called LEN. She had been training for 6 months but she had still not been able to debut. Junho went to argue with the agency multiple times but Ray stopped her. She had to explain to her big sister many times that there were trainees who trained longer than she did before they got to debut. "Beep beep beep beep beep" dialed Junho. ".... "What?" said Ray in an exhausted voice. "I'll go pick you up today after ur practice, its getting late" said Junho in a serious tone. "Okay, bring me my protein shakes then" replied Ray as she hanged up the phone.

When the day turned to night, Junho began to close up her shop. She roasted the beans for the next day and cleaned out the latte machine. She had to make preparations for the next day before she left the shop. She took off her brown uniform and placed it in the small locker. As she was finishing up tidying things up, she felt presence outside the door. She didn't stop in what she was doing and casually continued her work. She noticed dark shadows outside the glass windows and doors from her peripheral view. It was hard to see what was outside because the inside of the café was bright from the lights but the outside was completely dark. Their certainly not here for coffee... Thought Junho as she grabbed her keys and headed to the women's bathroom.
