Chapter 62: Couldn't Make an Excuse
Zed, Lan'er, and Jingfei separated from Zhu Lian who had made a strong front. Jingfei wished that she could accompany her and make her feel better, but the latter refused her good intentions and gratefully said that Jingfei had done more than enough.
Jingfei could only helplessly look at Zhu Lian's back as the former walked towards the highest platform.
When they arrived at the top, they saw their Master, Xia Meixiang, and their senior sister, Han Qiuyue.
Meixiang looked at them. "Oh you're back. How were your explorations?"
"They were alright." Zed replied casually.
Zed took his seat next to Meixiang while Jingfei and Lan'er sat beside him. He asked out loud, "What is senior sister Yue doing here? I thought she was busy cultivating?"
Han Qiuyue glanced at him and said, "It's the debut of my cute little disciples, how can I miss that?"
