Zhu Lian and Jingfei's faces brightened up after hearing Zed's answer.
"But first, I need Miss Zhu to swear on your cultivation to not divulge my methods to anyone including those who you trust the most." Zed said in a serious voice.
Zhu Lian closed her eyes and took a deep breath. After a short silence, she asked in hesitation. "How sure are you of being able to cure my illness?"
Zed shook his head. "I can guarantee that I will be able to identify what illness you are suffering from, but as for curing it... I can only give you an answer after identifying it."
After agreeing to help Zhu Lian, Zed already began to formulate a plan in his mind as well as thinking about how to approach this problem in front of him.
'My involvement will naturally make the enemy mage aware of my existence... but fortunately, I already know who the mage is.'
