Zed took a few moments to catch up his breath but while he was doing so, his adrenaline rush wore off and soon, he was assaulted with pain from his bleeding wounds.
"...Damn it..."
'This is the worst...'
And all Zed could do was grit his teeth through the pain and look on the bright side.
'Fortunately... they're all superficial wounds...'
Zed comforted himself with those words.
After assessing the current state of his body, he finally turned his attention to his surroundings.
'Again... stuck in darkness..'
Zed wouldn't have been complaining if he could still use his mana and travel through the darkness by using dark elemental spells but unfortunately for him, he couldn't feel an ounce of mana ever since something snapped inside him.
