Chapter 134: What really happened
The mood in the room was quiet and depressing. Majority of the elders in the room had downcast faces, not even bothering to fix their tattered robes nor clean the accumulated dirt and blood stains on their bodies.
Everyone was silent, too occupied with their own thoughts, while some were wholly focusing on recuperating as they expanded most of their internal energy in trying to survive and escape the hunt of Black Cloud Cult.
Only the sniffles of Zhu Lian could be heard and even that was obscured as she still kept her face close to her father's chest.
As for Zed and Meixiang, they wanted to ask their master about what happened but the atmosphere was too heavy for them to break. They didn't want to act out especially when they noticed that many of the elders were on edge.
Eventually, the silence was broken by the Sect Leader who spoke to his disciples.
"Disciple Yue."
"This disciples hears Master."
