Chapter 131: The Reason
"We've been betrayed?" Jingfei asked incredulously.
Han Qiuyue nodded but refrained from elaborating further.
"For now, we need to go and find Master as soon as possible."
Her junior siblings nodded in agreement except for Zhu Lian who nervously spoke up.
"U-um... senior, what about my father... do you think we'll find him?"
Han Qiuyue stared at her for a moment before replying, "I don't know."
"With how things currently are, I cannot confirm anyone's location nor can I use my internal energy to search throughout the entire city since there's a risk that our presence will be detected."
"I... understand." Zhu Lian sighed as her gaze lowered with her face becoming visibly disheartened.
Han Qiuyue looked at the group again and stated, "We'll head back to our home and see if Master is there."
"Hopefully we'll find your father there as well." She added while glancing at Zhu Lian.
