Chapter 109: The Second Stage 3
'Wan Chao?'
Zed looked at the youth in confusion.
'Why is he here?'
Wan Chao still had his appearance of a teenage youth which was when Zed last remembered him.
The pale Wan Chao was in clear distraught as he stared towards a particular direction.
Zed followed the youth's gaze and there he found another youth whose appearance was covered by flames.
As that other youth walked, flames died down and a hissing noise could be heard, signifying that the fire was being extinguished.
Zed squinted his eyes but due to the flames and smokes that covered the area, he couldn't see the other youth properly.
However, deep inside, Zed could already vaguely guess who that youth was.
"S-STAY AWAY!" Wan Chao shouted.
Wan Chao then tried to merge within the shadow of the tree he was standing on but a fire ball suddenly went and landed towards the shadow he was trying to merge with.
"G-gaargh!"
