"To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides."

The scent of seafood noodles teased my senses. Jace had me blindfolded as he led me to the kitchen.
"Careful," he whispered.
I wore an appropriate dress for the occasion while he matched with me. He was in a formal suit with a nice blue tie.
When the aroma hit stronger, Jace slowly undid the blindfold. He had the table set for two. A vase filled with flowers sat in the middle.
Since our resources were limited, there was no wine. A glass of lemonade sat on each side, though.
"I'll make it up to you once we're out of the hideout." Jace whispered again, his hot breath tickling the skin in my ears.
I squeezed his hand and chuckled.
"This is enough."
It was his turn to chuckle as he guided me to take a seat while he sat opposite me.
"For a woman who has everything, you're not a fan of extravagant things."
