When I had returned home after securing the evidence of my kills, alongside the chests filled with artifacts, I was awarded with the roughly 100,000 Ryo from the mission and given a generous bonus in the form of bolts of high quality silk, aged pomegranate wine, and an extra 100,000 Ryo.
In total, I got a bonus of roughly 500,000 Ryo, all for a mission that took me around 4 hours to complete.
Making my way back home with all of that secured in a storage scroll, I was greeted with the crying of Akari and Riku, making me sigh as I kicked off my footwear.
Stripping off my vest and removing the scrolls, I made my way towards the sounds of the two babies crying, finding Anko desperately looking between the two as she tried to coax them into drinking some milk.
Sadly, neither girl seemed interested in their mom's coaxing, instead wailing loudly as she tried to calm them down.
Watching for a moment, I sighed again as I stepped forwards and gently lifted Riku from Anko, smiling warmly at my baby as I hummed softly for her, managing to lessen her cries.
As for Akari, she was now getting Anko's undivided attention, and she too was calming down under her mom's soft pleading.
Making my way towards our bedroom, I was followed by Anko as she desperately sought the finesse only a mother would know.
Caring for both Riku and Akari was draining, but there was a sense of pride that filled me as they both were lulled to sleep in my arms, especially with the way Anko stared at me with relief and lust afterwards.
So...
After displaying just how 'grateful' she was in the bath, we went back out into the kitchen and helped Kurenai and Cameia put away all the groceries and other things they had bought, laughing as we looked at the various toys and clothes Kurenai had purchased for Akari and Riku.
Sorting through them all, we chatted together as Mikoto and I began to cook dinner, only to all glance at the compounds gate as someone rang the bell.
Cameia left with Anko to answer it, and we turned back to our grilling steaks and cooling noodles, while I placed the pots of pomegranate wine on the table, ready to drink them tonight.
When they returned to the house, my two wives were joined with Ami and Tenten, the two girls instantly honing in on the cooking food with hungry eyes.
Sensing that, I chuckled as I swapped with Kurenai, beckoning for the three girls, Karin included, to follow me outside.
"If you want to eat here, you need to prove you're worthy of being here! So, training time. Need to make sure you haven't slacked off during this break..."
Reaching the training grounds out back, I glanced between the three girls who all groaned slightly, frowns on their faces.
Clapping my hands together, I got their attention back as I began to have them go through some warmups, loosening their muscles out before getting them to stand around me.
What followed was a quick, yet 'brutal' spar between them and me, each girl getting healed up afterwards as they grumbled and glared at me, only to grin again as the smell of fresh noodles and juicy meat entered their noses.
Sending them off to the kitchen, I returned to the bedroom and grabbed Akari and Riku, waking them up and carrying them towards the table.
When Kurenai was handed Akari, her features softened instantly as she held her daughter close, planting a kiss on her brow.
Akari woke up instantly at the sight of so many people, wanting to go meet them all again, whereas Riku yawned tiredly and nuzzled into my chest, closing her eyes and falling asleep again, even with food laid out before us.
With a full table once more, we laughed and joked throughout the night, enjoying the fruits of my labors as we sat around the kitchen for a few hours, before sending the girls home and saying goodnight to Mikoto and Karin.
Then, after putting the young ones to sleep, we fell into bed and enjoyed ourselves before falling asleep, awaiting our next tomorrow spent together.
