Kokoro Pov
Sighing, I stared at the ceiling as I awoke, ignoring the sounds of Anko and Cameia in the bathroom for a moment.
The further along I got with my pregnancy, the more I began to both dread and anticipate it.
Would I do good as a mother?
What would my child look like?
Could they manage to grow up properly under our guidance?
Should I start getting a bunch of clothes now, or should I wait until they're born?
A myriad of thoughts ran around my mind, and each one made me wonder what the future would hold.
However, I wasn't so weak willed, nor weak minded, to succumb to my darker, sadder thoughts.
I had dealt with worse, and my father was a prime example that, even on my own, I was entirely capable of raising a child successfully.
And I wouldn't be alone.
It would be me, Kurenai, Anko, and Cameia raising these children.
Makoto would help, and Karin, Naruto, and maybe Hinata would be the 'older siblings' to our kids, teaching them both good things and bad things.
So, I let those thoughts of mine drift away as I rolled onto my side and stared at Kurenai, who woke up moments later.
With a glance at one another, we both turned towards the still closed bathroom door, Anko's moans reverberating around the house as she allowed Cameia to seek pleasure from her.
Giving one another a nod, I crawled over to Kurenai and began to take care of her as best I could without putting too much strain on either of us.
~~~
The next morning was rather bland, since it was another off day.
Kurenai and I were lounging at the table, both frowning as we looked around for something to occupy our minds.
We needed something to take our thoughts off of our pregnancy, just to keep us from overthinking everything.
That was why we had come to dread these free days, as we were left alone with our thoughts.
So, when a certain yellow haired brat came around and told me that a certain someone had forced him to break a rule I made him follow, I was gratefully pissed.
With a distraction now available to me, I chuckled as Kurenai also grinned at the boy, before we both grabbed his arms and dragged him out back.
"W-Wait, Aunties! W-WHY!!!"
Hearing his despondent screech, we both chuckled as I fixed him with a wide grin.
"What do you mean why~? Weren't you coming by for some training~?"
He blanched at that, before relaxing slightly as Karin popped out from around the door, her eyes instantly finding Naruto.
"Oh, are we training Aunty?"
Giving the girl a nod, she instantly fell into step behind us as we went out back, towards the small sandy pit that we trained in.
Karin moved with Kurenai, who wanted to begin teaching the younger Uzumaki about genjutsu, to help hone her mind for when she began to learn sealing.
As for Naruto, I was guiding him through using some more weighted throwing weapons, specifically a few Fuma Shuriken, the giant, four bladed Shuriken littered on the ground around him as he began to practice with each.
Watching his progress and giving him pointers was rather refreshing as well, as the boy swiftly grasped the complexities of the different weight needed to throw it accurately, the positioning of his body, the flick of his wrist...
Each thing required a finesse that few could truly master, but the boy managed to put his calligraphy practice to some use, the use of his hand and wrist helping him translate to the handwork needed for throwing the Fuma Shuriken's somewhat accurately.
Though, he still failed at certain things, like keeping his strength under control.
You could go around throwing these things at full power, sure, but...
Watching as a tree collapsed, the trunk cleanly cut in half, I sighed as I glared at the boy.
The damage one can do with a full powered throw was incredible, especially when chakra infusion was being used as well, but that damage went to more then just the person...
It damaged the environment as well, and we were Shinobi.
No one was meant to know we were there, nor were we to leave any traces.
Not a single blade mark was supposed to be out of place, so I decided to stop him from throwing the Shurikens anymore and instead focused him on controlling his enormous power.
Which, was harder then it sounded.
It's far easier to throw a full strength punch then it is to hold back, especially when you have multiple different vitality increasing bloodlines flowing through your veins.
An average Uzumaki is still much stronger than an average person, as were the Namikaze's.
Then you add on a mystical Demon Fox that hates humanity, and well...
Sighing as I watched the boy crush the brick again, I continued to guide him slowly and meticulously, hoping he would grasp it soon.
Kurenai was having more luck then I was, as the Uzumaki girl managed to break free from one of my wives less noticeable illusions and explaining why she broke free.
Obviously you can brute force Genjutsu by just constantly pulsing your chakra, but that consumes chakra and requires constant vigilance, so Kurenai requires her students to tell her why they pulsed their chakra, explaining what they saw or felt to deem breaking free.
She's had to fail multiple students who either make up reasons or simply say 'because I knew you put me in one'...
When we finally sent Naruto free, we trudged back inside and sat down to eat, all whilst I planned on what I needed to do to get Kakashi over here...
Sorry if this chapter felt like a fever dream lol, started it, stopped in the middle, then finished on a headache~!
All because I hate leaving chapters half finished since I know I'll forget what I wanted to put inside the chapter...
