Elena got up from Elleard's lap and walked to her own chair. She sat there and dinner soon started. As Samantha said, they already prepared Elena's favorite dishes for dinner. This made her feel so happy, but at the same time conflicted.
She wanted to talk about their divorce but how could she bring up the topic if the atmosphere at home felt so peaceful and loving?
"I would love to hear about your adventures," commented Elleard when the servant was pouring wine into his glass. "What's your favorite place?"
"Uhm... I can't say," said Elena. "They are all beautiful. I do love exploring the vineyard and picking grapes directly from their trees. And then the picnic in Sienna was nice too."
"Hmm..." Elleard nodded in understanding. Then he decided to ask about Shiro. "So, what about your friend? Did you like spending time with her?"
