Elena looked at Elleard with a confused look. Why was it so hard to understand her husband?
She thought she had known Elleard after living with him for months and interacting quite often. However, sometimes Elleard still surprised her.
Elena had expected Elleard to forbid her from going with Shiro for reasons she could guess. Elena was suffering from depression and needed medical attention in order to recover. She also recently experienced an assault that had Elleard worried about letting her travel with strangers.
Elena had prepared several rebuttals to convince her husband to let her go with Shiro. But it turned out that none of the rebuttals was necessary. Elleard easily gave her permission to go.
