Staying in Tristan's embrace for some time, Ashley finally calmed down. Though the dream was still vivid in her thoughts she tried not to get worried by it.
After all, it was just a dream, she thought and pulled back from his embrace.
"Better," Tristan asked
"Hmm..." Giving him a light nod Ashley hummed before she climbed down from the bed. She still had to freshen up, so without wasting any time she quietly entered the bathroom.
Tristan silently watched her entering the bathroom as she didn't speak a word again and that made him wonder how much of that stupid dream ended up spoiling his wife's mood.
As soon as the door closed, Tristan too snapped out of his thoughts before returning to the couch and resuming his work.
He quickly finished off his work before Ashley stepped out after taking a shower and walked towards the dressing table.
She kept staring at herself in the mirror before her eyes went down to her stomach.
