"Why?" he asked raising his brow and saw her look back at him. Her eyes showed a sign of confusion but soon he recalled their talk this afternoon and cursed himself mentally.
'You stupid Noah. Couldn't you come up with other words' he scolded himself inwardly as he watched the smile on her face drop.
"I thought you wanted to spend more time with me....so you could forget Alice" Natalie pouted her lips suddenly feeling hurt by his words.
Noah forgot that he told her that talking with her helped him to forget his pain and how he wish to be in touch with her henceforth.
Noah felt like digging a hole for himself. He just couldn't believe she would react to his words this quickly. She didn't even wait for the next morning and just showed up in the middle of nowhere.
