Alice helped Noah stand up and took him inside the house before shutting the door. She knew she shouldn't be showing any mercy to him but the way he stared at her with hope melted her heart.
She didn't want to feel sorry for him but when she looked at his face, she could tell that he was crying. His eyes swollen and turned red were the evidence that he had been tearing up inside his apartment.
"Go wash your face and join me on the bed" she without looking at him and turned to leave when suddenly Noah hugged her from behind.
"You don't want to look at me now" Noah sounded like a kid who was being ignored by his mother.
Alice felt bad when his voice cracked. She knew she shouldn't prolong this argument and have a proper talk without any silent treatment but she very well knew Noah would end up brushing that topic if she happens to forgive him.
