As the call ended I laid on the bed for some minutes then got tired of sitting alone Gabriella wasn't back yet and I don't want to leave the room just incase she did not take her key along with her when going out, I just had to rest my head reading wasn't an option at that moment because I wasn't feeling that eagerness to pick any book then concentrate with it, I may sleep off while reading leaving the room was the only option to keep me awake so I called Gabriella to inform her I will be leaving the room for a stroll so incase she returns before me then I left the lodge getting to the pavilion I had no where in mind to stroll to the hill came to my mind. I had not been there on my own except with the squad going there alone was an experience I wanted to have so I shuffled to the hill they were new benches there with multi-colours, some flowers were planted by the side with painted rocks arrangement on the ground, the atmosphere was friendly as the wind blew the flowers as they all followed the direction of the breeze their movement was pleasant I sat watching them my thought and mind was fully on them I felt excited watching the flowers, Then my phone rang I don't want to be disturbed so I did not pick the call but on another thought it could be Gabriella I checked my phone it was Gabriella so I called her back.
"Hey you, Are you home? I asked.
"Yes I'm, Are you close? She asked.
"Yes but not really close. I came to the hill" I replied.
"Ohh let me join you there" she said.
Minutes after she joined me at the hill.
"This place seems to have a new look," she said, admiring the environment.
"Yhh I noticed the same thing when I walked in, It took you less than the usual minutes to get here" I said.
"Yes, that was because I had not gotten to the lodge yet before I called," she replied.
"Really so how did you know I wasn't home yet? I asked.
"I just called to inform you that I was coming then you asked the question" she said.
"Oh I get it now, I actually came here to clear my head" I said beaming.
"Were you tired of reading? She asked.
"Yes I was, Trying to add to the one's I have read wouldn't be an option so I strolled out knew that was better than staying indoor" I replied walking to the flower area I snapped one of the flowers still admiring the beauty of nature I remembered I had not given Gabriella the feedback from my conversation with Noah.
"I spoke to Noah not long before I came for this stroll" I said walking back to the bench we both sat on.
"Ok what did he say? she asked with this expectation look all over her face.
"I started the conversation with asking if he knew Laura he was quite for a while then replied he knows her then he explained where and how he knew her next I asked was his relationship with her you know the answer already, she is one of his girlfriend he was actually truthful to my surprise I used his sincerity to pin him down after abusing him and calling him names he also tried defending himself. He said Laura wanted something more than just friends with benefit but he made everything clear to her"
"What were you expecting him to say? He will want to defend himself. I'm not amazed but you can continue," she said, twinkling.
"He more or less blamed her for the pregnancy because he says they always use protection that when she informed him of the pregnancy he was struck with amazement then later told by Laura that the condom used had an opening".
"Sorry for interrupting you but how did Laura find out it had an opening if she wasn't the one who did it? Gabriella asked.
"And that's true and I never thought of that. How did she find out it had an opening? Let's say she found out when disposing of it why did she not inform Noah the pregnancy came up? I asked.
" What was your reply after he spoke? She asked.
"I told him we will talk about the issue when our exams are done because I was confused about what to say after hearing his own side of the story. Both of them are blaming each other. Also I was avoiding any issue from distracting me during the exam" I said standing to my feet.
"Are you leaving now? I asked.
"Yes Do you want to stay back? I asked.
"Yes please let's stay back for some minutes" she replied pleading.
"I never knew you picked some chocolate from the mart " I said.
"Yes I did as we were paying, we need some appetisers to keep us awake this exam preparation period" she said.
"Ohh I see I have actually picked one out of it this afternoon to keep my mouth busy because I was looking into space" I said.
"That's not a problem, It was brought to be eaten,We can leave now"she said standing to her feet.
We strolled back to the lodge with the cool atmosphere. Students could be seen chatting with friends, strolling like we were, having earbuds in their ears, some were carrying bags while some had books in their hands.
