"Where are you going this early? Gabriella asked, coming out of the bathroom with a face towel.
"I'm not going out just checking if these two pieces fit me perfectly" I replied checking myself from the side mirror.
"It fits you perfectly, it seems I have an outfit like yours. The difference is the pattern and colour. Also mine is a long sleeve shirt" she said sitting on her bed." I will also be wearing mine" she stood up walking to her wardrobe which was behind mine.
She bought her out . Also, it was beautiful. It had green flower patterns all over it.
"Can we get bread from the bakery to make toasted bread for breakfast? Gabriella asked as she kept her clothes on my bed.
"Isn't it early for the bakery to open? I asked locking my wardrobe.
"No it's not they normally open on time because they know their customers always come early for bread most especially. she said.
"Okk if you say so let me wash my face and also brush so we can leave" I said walking to the bathroom soon after I was done. "Can we leave now? I asked Gabriella who was busy on her phone.
"Yes we can," she replied, putting on her slippers .
The bakery wasn't far from the lodge so we did not bother changing from our pajamas. I just tied my hair with a black bandana scarf then we left. The freshly baked breads were just being sealed when we got to the bakery so we waited for them to be done.
"Since we planned to toast the bread, can we just get the sliced fruit bread?" I suggested.
"Yess that bread will suit our plan for breakfast," she agreed.
We bought the sliced fruit bread then payed with my credit card also got jam spread with sardine from the shopping mart close to the bakery then returned to our room, As we walked in my phone data was on notification kept coming in at first I wasn't bothered soon it became disturbing so I check the phone after I was done with applying spread on the bread while Gabriella was toasting it.
I opened my phone. It was on our class group chat there was a picture sent to the group. When I opened it was a pregnancy test kit with a positive result. I tried understanding why it was posted so I showed it to Gabriella who was as well dazed.
"Can you check the chat after it so we can understand what's going on" she suggested.
"That's true" I replied scrolling to the chat then started reading it out apparently a pregnancy test kit with result was found in the class by some group of guys who went to the class late in the evening yesterday so they all decided to post it on our group chat with the conviction that it belongs to one of the girls.
"That's so frivolous" Gabriella reacted after I read the chat, "They just want to humiliate her" she added.
"Yess that's what they want to do because I don't get what's their problem against a person's pregnancy like why most of them make a big deal out of the whole issue" I said misplease.
"With time everything will unhold to us all" Gabriella said, nibbling a slice of toast bread.
"Yes I agree with you" I said, picking a slice of toast bread from the plate. "Let's eat fast so we can prepare for the group reading" I suggested. "I have my books packed already late night you just have to add your's" I said to her.
"Ohh" she said, picking some books then keeping them in my backpack.
"Are we meeting in class or Gabriel's place? I asked.
"We will know later when I call," she said, cleaning the surface of the toast maker with a towel then keeping it by the shelf.
" Left to me we should just prepare now once we are done then we can go to 'THE DELIGHT '' to assist Sera so she could also rest a bit before the group reading begins" I suggested.
"That will be good," I replied.
We both had our bath,dressed then left for "THE DELIGHT '' as we got there Sera was on duty as we planned immediately she saw that a smile was on her face.
"Hey girls' ' she said, meeting us by the first table beside the front desk, "what brought you two? she asked, hugging us.
"We came to assist you" Gabriella answered.
"Assist me" she repeated laughing then stopped "Are you both serious" she asked staring at the both of us.
"Yes we are serious, Sera just serves people's order while we deliver them" I answered.
"Awnnn you girls are the best," she said, hugging us tight.
"Yes we know we are the best" Gabriella replied blushing.
"I have orders to deliver before my shift is over. This kind gesture is well appreciated," she said smiling.
"Good so can we begin? I asked.
"Yes we can '' she brought out her phone scrolling then stopped walking to the front desk arranging the orders in the carrier bag next she placed the carrier bags on the front desk with the address tagged to them they were not much just six. I and Gabriella picked two bags each. They were close to themselves; they had the same address. It belonged to the same person. The address on mine was the sports complex while Gabriella's own was the administrative building we left together. I did my own delivery first then went with Gabriella to the last delivery spot.
