We sat at the sport complex for awhile before we left for our lodge, we could not go for lunch or dinner because none of us remembered and we were not ready to leave the sport activties for the dining hall. Immediately we got to the lodge Gabriella placed order for peppered rice and turkey while we were waiting for to be delivered I decided to let Gabriella know that Ethan called.
"Ethan called" I said as I sat on my bed side stool.
"Really, what did he say? She asked.
"Nothing much I did not allow him talk for that long before telling him to call back when I will be in the lodge" I replied.
"Okk let's expect his call then" Gabriella said.
"Don't put your hopes so high he may not be calling again" I said.
"Let me put my hope in," Gabriella said jokingly.
"If you say so" I replied, ``our exams are closer than we thought. We really need to reduce our partying and visit the library more often" I suggested to Gabriella.
"Yhh I was also having that though also, but you speak with clarity did you see the college's calendar? Gabriella asked.
"Yhh I saw the college's calendar while sharing the test booklet then later returned it to Ms Lacy" I said.
"Can we go to the library tomorrow? Gabriella asked.
"Yes we can and also try calling Gabriel to inform others that we will be studying in the library tomorrow" I said changing my cloth to a casual one I could wear with in.
Soon my phone rang I did not noticed it at first because I left my phone in my backpack which was by the end of my bed bringing the phone to check the caller it was Ethan I was a bit upset seeing the call as I was about picking the call a knock was heard from our door so I went for the door since Gabriella had already slept off. It was the delivery person. Finally, we will not die of starvation.
"What kept you guys for this long? I asked the delivery person who apologised as I was paying for the food Gabriella woke up, rushed to the door and collected the food from me trying to lock the door behind me when I saw Gabriella already eating.
"Gabriella I thought you would wait till I come before you start eating? I asked with this look on my face.
With her mouth filled with food" Paris please forgive me I'm famished that's why I decided to sleep to kill time" she replied.
I sat close to Gabriella calling Ethan back
"Gabriella I will be keeping my phone on loud speaker because it seems this call will be a lengthy one so please I need your total silence and no contribution should be made until the call has ended"
"Yhh sure I will just listen then contribute after the call' Gabriella replied.
It rang once after which he called back which I picked.
"Hey sorry I missed your call" Ethan said.
"That's not a problem," I replied.
"Hope your day was stress free? He asked. Ethan was a sweet person. Let me be sincere Ethan was a nice guy but there are a lot of things around him I can't deal with.
"My day wasn't stressful, thanks for the care, and the reason for the call" because I don't want him using all his caring charms on me because I may possibly fall for it.
"Okk to the main purpose of the call I will want to be as real as I can be yes you have seen the video you believe I'm a gay yhh I was before I met your pretty soul"
Hearing that my heart skipped a bit, what was the heart skip for? I asked myself.
"After I met you, everything changed. I have left him for you," Ethan said.
That was confusing"If you guys are no longer together then how was he able to post a challenge you both did? I asked him.
"That was an old video which he just posted again because I broke up with him, Paris please can you just believe me?
Ethan said that like he knew I wasn't moved by all which he just said. "Ethan I won't judge you for being a gay No I won't do that niether do I want you changing your sexual life all because of me you can just move on with your life like we both never met it's not that serious" I suggested.
"It's serious Paris, do you want to tell me you felt nothing after the kisses we shared, even the smooching? He asked.
The question came at the wrong time because I was having that though at that moment. The kiss which I enjoyed and the smooching ...… it was something I have never experienced before I know but that few minutes pleasure wasn't to be compared with dating a gay guy can I cope with it?
"You said you changed because of me Ethan you really need not to pick your sexual life over anyother thing because what will be my fate when you go back to your old sexual life I don't want us from being good friends to become enemies which will regenerate into haterd which could involve our friends and everyone around us, So Ethan we are still friends but regarding your dating proposal I can't date you.
