I couldn't believe that it isn't over yet.
What would have happened to Jingle? We had almost forgotten about him so far. Maybe Morgan had found out that he let us escape. For sure he is in a danger now. What could we do now? How can we help him?
"Max, we forgot Jingle. He must be in a trouble by now." I said to Max.
"Oh, what shall we do now?" Max asked.
"Wait Shalie, I can help you. Now I'm out of Morgan's spell." Granny said interrupting us.
"Can you?" Lisa asked.
"Yes sure!" granny replied.
Then granny closed her eyes and started chanting a prayer. She continued the same action and after few minutes she opened her eyes.
We all were looking at granny with the eyes full of expectation. Then she gave us a smile.
"Don't worry. You can save him only if you reach the dark cave by the correct time." Granny said.
"What? Is he in a danger?" I asked. I was worried about Jingle so much.
"He is in a cage. Morgan has put him in a cage. There's a benefit for you. Now she doesn't have someone to stand by her side. She is alone now. I know about her better than you. When she is lonely, she doesn't have that courage with her." Granny said.
"We have to go. Let's go back to the caves." I said in a hurry.
Max, Lisa, Edward and I got ready to go back to the caves. But granny and Alicia interrupted us.
"Wait, you have to wait until the morning." Alicia said.
"What are you talking about? Jingle is in a cage. We are the ones who were put into a cage. But he let us escape. How can we wait when he is poisoned?" I asked with anger.
"Shalie, listen to me. This time we have to be more careful. You have come a long way. This is half done. If you go back to the caves now, this would be a great chance for Morgan to end this and start controlling this world again. Usually the witches who use black magic have the chance to defeat any creature in the night times. They become more powerful in the night times." Granny said.
After listening to granny's words, I was able to calm down a bit. I sat on the floor and agreed to wait until the morning.
Everyone calmed down. All of them were looking at me with an amusement because of my behavior. I never meant to behave that way. But I was really afraid of Jingle and in my heart I had a feeling of guilt. If we had taken Jingle with us, everything would have been normal. But at that situation it was impossible.
Alicia, Edward, granny, Max, Lisa and I were sitting around the table which was the dining table of granny.
"Shalie, don't blame on yourself. It's alright. We can't do everything correct every time. Any of us aren't perfect. People do wrong things. That's normal but we have to face whatever happens." Granny said. Her words made me feel comfortable.
"Yes, I think the same. But I have something to ask from you." I replied.
"Yes, tell me, what do you want to ask?" granny asked.
"Why do think of me as you savior? I'm just a girl. I don't have powers. What's the reason?" I asked. That was the question which was bothering me from the beginning.
Granny kept one of her hands on my left shoulder and said, "Shalie, we don't need magical powers to become a strong person. There's a strong and a brave person in all of us. But everyone doesn't know how to take out that person. Your pure heart and the strength of your spirit have made you a strong girl. A strong girl, who can face anything. You have a pure heart and strong spirit. Don't underestimate yourself."
It made me feel quiet calm. I looked at granny and smiled. I didn't ask any more questions from her.
Lisa's face looked sleepy. Alicia had seen her face. And also Max and I were feeling sleepy too. It was a difficult day. That time I felt so tiresome.
"I'll arrange a place for you to sleep." Alicia said.
"Hey, any of you weren't afraid of Edward! How's that possible?" Max asked.
"He is our friend. He is so helpful. We know one another." Granny said.
It was a coincident. We didn't realize that before or even Edward didn't tell us.
