If I have to make a list of things I want to do after obtaining the body, fighting on the frontline would be one of them.
Which might have sounded offensive to my fellow compatriots who were genuinely fighting in the war with their lives on the line. But I really wanted to see what these mortals have suffered from. I wanted to experience the fear and hopelessness one feels on a battlefield.
'Like a war epic.' There were many stories about soldiers who had made exemplary achievements during the war. Which would often be used by the government and turned into a tale of honor and sacrifice in the mouth of the propaganda department, which would use the greatness of such soldiers to recruit even more when the time eventually came.
As for the true ugliness of war and the desperation and disgust one had to make during the war?
