Yethel was a growing economy holding a military might that confused many of its neighbors. But at the end of the day, it was a new country with borders along some of the strongest nations in the world.
On the north-east, there was the Cynark Kingdom, while on the south side, there was Pulgasiri. A country that acted like a concerned neighbor, supporting Yethel with technology and weapons at a cheap price.
But everyone interested in politics knew why the Dwarves were so welcoming of such a new and weak nation.
'Be our shield.'
And that was it, to them, Yethel was a cheap way to keep Cynark occupied. Making Yethel appear as a threat on the side that might start devouring their lands just like Ikarus did the day he established Yethel as its own country.
