Chapter 63 - Inspiration

LOVE

Love. What is love? A word which is more complicated than life itself. There are many types of love such as love of God, love to a partner and love for others. We can say that loving your country, nature, a belief or principle is also caring that you can give up everything even your very life or existence to protect them. Love is an act of charity, a gift we give to the one we care for why we serve, we work hard and lay down our life even for their sakes, may it be for a cause, a person, an ideal, a principle or for a nation or the world.

Love of God is the first commandment and loving Self as Others is the second. I was watching Muhammad Ali's life and his principles. He is a man who isn't scared of anything but he believes that in defeat he can contemplate that winning isn't everything but the belief that he can be the champion. He became one of the greatest champion boxers of the world. The Champ of the African people. A Champ who tells jokes and good in running some lines on poetry too. Ali wasn't a violent man or neither a man who wanted his opponents dead on the canvass. But a man who rose from being human to a legend. He didn't wanted to be defeated because of shame or his title ut he wanted to win for his people. And make the black community proud to be black and just like Julia Stiles answer to her friend I the movie "Save the Last Dance", "we only live in one world and there are no black or white women, just women". In Ali's case, "there's no blue eyed Jesus but a God who has the same color as ours" Have you seen Jesus? Maybe, in the movies, that he is Jewish and caucasian. He is maybe brown or white but we can never be sure, yet I believe he is black too.

I have been raised to see everyone as equal and that color is never an issue whatsoever. But as a grew up, news about massacres and violence against the Black Community or Whites shaming Asians or people in color gravely saddened me. Now I'm forty-four years old and I still see violence against the Blacks which exploded last year, 2020, when many black men and women were killed because of mistaken identity and the sorts. Even in the comforts of their homes, these innocent souls couldn't find security. How strange?. Covid-19 broke out and the pandemic started year 2019 which made the world change. Until now we are still struggling on how to beat this problem, and I don't think that this disease won't go away anytime soon. However, we are called to fight and survive the pandemic and live as the Christ rose from the dead after three days. He wants us to remember that there's always hope in trusting God and his providence. Jesus gave his life for us out of love for mankind and he will do it again for us if he is here now. He is with us, amongst us and walking with us to get through this trial. I believe that in spite of all our issues including economic, social, political and racial, we will overcome and we will create a new world where peace, justice and equality reigns.

We are in the cleansing stage. Death isn't the end but a beginning toward living in God's kingdom, which we are all going to be in anyway in the end. But now, we must fight, stand against injustice, indifference, and share what we have to the poor, hungry and underpriviledged. Our world won't go hungry or poor if we continue to share and love each other the same way as the Father loves each and every one of us. Others say, it is God who sent the pandemic and why do we need to ask him for help or forgiveness. My answer to that is, God is a good and just God. He won't destroy mankind because he promised it so with Noah when He brought floods to kill the evil men from Cain's lineage. I saw the film and Noah wanted to kill his family just to atone for all the sins the offended God. But still, the Creator sent people to warn us. He still sends messengers and holy people to shed light on matters like climate, equality or poverty. I maybe one of them but I couldn't say I am holy for I am just a simple person just like you. I am a mother and a teacher, a trainer and motivator, but I am not a politician or a business tycoon either. I speak from the heart and my concern for the world is not because I want to be famous. It is just simply because I CAN speak and write about many things including the pandemic.

I saw the moon last night and it was so low I can see it clearly like it's speaking to me. I was singing with Starmaker (an app where you can sing songs and get likes for them). I took a picture of the beautiful moon and went along with my singing spree. So everything went well and I continued with my isolation since I thought I had Covid but turned out that I had a hemorrhoid or some sort. Anyway, I slept and since it was a bit hot I opened the windows on my room. It's about two in the morning when I woke up and saw the moon again, since was blinded by it shining right through me like it found me or something and wouldn't go away. Our building has an opening in the middle where the room I stayed was at. And it's not pretty impossible that the moon happened to be there at the very exact place where I was at. But it's just strange that as if it's just saying to me, "I am here and I will never leave you". Just as God would be saying down to us, "I am here and would never leave you, all of you. Just trust me and as long as the sun and moon rises there's always hope. Then the moon went higher up or somewhere and I lost sight of it.
