The next morning I woke up shaking profusely, the fever had worsened. My head was pounding continuously.. and I could barely breathe. I managed to stagger up from the bed, I needed a cold bath to cool off my body that was on fire. As i stepped my feet on the ground everything started spinning and before I knew what was happening I passed out. The next time I opened my eyes, I saw myself in a hospital bed, no one was in the room but I could hear people's chatter. I tried to get up but realized that I was chained to the bed, I opened my eyes wide as I tried to free myself from the chain but to no avai, I kept on trying but the chain wouldn't come off. Just then I heard a familiar voice outside the the room, it was Kimberly, she was talking to someone. "I want you to finish her off, I don't know how she's still sane till now despite the fact that I've specifically asked for her water to be drugged, but she managed to stay sane" I heard her say. "Now that things are beginning to work out between I and Drey, I can never allow that woman become a threat, I want her dead do you understand?". I shivered as I heard those words, so Kimberly wanted me out of the way so she could be with Drey. Tears ran down my eyes as I sobbed quietly just then the handle on the door twisted, I wiped my eyes quickly and pretended like I was sleeping. I heard someone walk into the room, I didn't know who it was but I guess it was the person Kimberly was talking to.
The person that's supposed to "finish me" . I felt the person come closer to me and then stopped moving. My heart skipped a beat as I imagined what is about to happen to me, I opened my eyes and I saw it was the same old woman from before, she was holding a syringe in her hands, I held her hand and pleaded with her. " Please don't kill me" I begged as tears ran down my eyes. She removed my hand and reached for my neck, I struggled with her but she gained the upper hand. She held on to my throat tightly as she tried to drive the syringe into my shoulder, I pushed her and the syringe fell to the floor. She got angry and used her two hands to hold my neck, I struggled but she was gradually choking the life out of me, I saw my whole life flash before my very eyes. Gradually my I was loosing breath, my eyes were almost pooping out of the socket and my hands dropped and I gave up. I could no longer feel the pain anymore, everything was peaceful now. Just when I thought I had crossed to the other side, I heard my name from a far distance. "Mrs Higer please stay with me" I heard the voice say, I smiled at the way she addressed me, Yes I am Mrs Higer that's who I am and I am now, Drey Hiller's wife. As I thought of Drey suddenly I felt strength rush though my body and the voice calling out my name became closer and closer... I opened my eyes and I was back to life.
