After the conference, Drey spent some time talking with his Dad. His Dad introduced him to some of his friends, they shook hands with him and expressed their admiration towards Drey. After Drey finished with his father, he came to me and without saying a word, he hugged me tightly, " thank you for today" he said still hugging me, I smiled and hugged him back.
We stayed in that position for a while, not wanting to let go. For some reason I've been having a very bad feeling, like something was going to happen to me or Drey, I couldn't tell exactly what it was, but ever since Kimberly threatened me, I've had that feeling. Drey released me from his hug, he held my hands in his, and looked deep into my eyes, then said " how would you like to marry the new CEO?" He asked. " I would really love that" I said smiling into his face. " Then let's not waste more time". He said. I was kind of surprised because I didn't quite understand what he meant by that. But before I could say another word, he rushed to his Dad and whispered something to him. His Dad smiled and looked my direction, he smiled and gestured for me to come. I went to meet him. " How are you Arielle?" He asked. " I'm fine thank you Sir". " I'm glad you two have decided to do this today". He said. I looked at Drey a a bit confused. What was his father talking about? Could it be about the conference? I wondered.
His father broke my thoughts by holding my hands, he held my right hand and Drey's right hand. he looked at my face and cleared his throat. " Today, I want to apologise to you both for being against your marriage four years ago". " I'm sorry I tore the wedding certificate given to you by the Court, I'm sorry I separated you two and caused you so much pain". He looked into my eyes that were already filled with tears threatening to fall any moment. " Today I give you both my blessings, I join you two together". Tears rolled down my cheeks, I could see Drey was struggling with his emotions, he couldn't hide how he felt. " I bless you two, no woman or man born of a woman will separate you two, no matter how far you are from each other you would always find your way back".
After his father blseed us, I realized that the setting of the hall had changed, the hall had been redecorated and totally transformed. I was wondering what was going on...and then said " I want us to get married right now". " But I..m..m ..I" I stammered. " Don't worry I've taken care of everything, your mum and Shyla would be here in the next ten minutes". " I've sent some staffs to pick up your gown". " What?!" I exclaimed . I was surprised at. how fast everything was put in place, or maybe Drey had planned this beforehand.
But notwithstanding, I was happy I was going to be walking down the aisle today with the love of my life. I felt so happy and excited. I smiled and nodded my head.In less than thirty minutes, everything was ready, my gown arrived and I was taken to one of the rooms for my makeup. I had several people making me up and helping me get dressed, I felt like a queen. Shyla was with me all through, we talked and laughed all through my makeup session.
After my makeup, my face was covered with the veil, my mom held my hand and walked with me, as soon as we got to the front of the priest, she placed my hands in Drey's hand. " Please take care of my little girl". She said and walked away. The wedding started, we exchanged vows. And kissed. The wedding came to an end and the reception began, it was filled with so much fun, we danced, played games and did so many things. My wedding was a hug one. It was more than a dream wedding, it was a dream come true.
