After the board meeting, Kimberly and I followed Drey to his office to finish up on the arrangements. It was just a day to the conference and Drey's father would be coming along side his step mother and step brother. Drey was really tensed, I could tell by looking at him. This conference really means a lot to him, this conference will determine if he's competent to run his father's conglomerate or not. Although the last one was a success, that conference gave him his position today in the company, his father made him the director of Dacot group of companies which is a compqny that has over thirty companies under it. Before then he was just a manager in one of his dad's company.
Kimberly was busy with her system, she was so engrossed in what she was doing, I had just finished sending invitation mails to all the companies that will be attending tomorrow's conference. This were the ones that made it to the final stage of screening.
After processing their works and even sending staffs to go inspect the companies. This was the final stage, sending invitation emails to the ones that passed. I smiled and moved to his back, I slowly massaged his shoulders down to his waist. " Mhhh, that's feels good". He said. I kept massaging him as he worked. After a while he was done, I heaved a sigh of relief. As I wanted to move back, suddenly he turned his around and pulled me, I fell into his hand arms, he made me sit on his laps and then he claimed my lips, we kissed passionately, he depend the kiss and ran his hands on my back, I held onto his shoulders. He broke the kiss and we were both panting. " Thank you for the massage" he said smiling at me. " You're welcome" I replied. We stayed like that staring at each other when Kimberly walked in and broke the silence. " Drey can we talk? " she said and walked away. " I'll see you later baby" he said and pecked my lips.
Drey and Kimberly went to the other side of the office, although they were far from me, I could see them. Drey's office was a very massive one, it can take up to three offices and there would still be space left. I sat on Drey's seat as I imagined what those two were discussing. Kimberly looked a little sad, while Drey was kind of explaining something to her. I know there used to be a "thing" between them, but Drey clearly said he wants to focus on us. I watched them for a while, then my phone rang. It was my mom calling. " Hello Mom, how are you doing" I asked. " I'm fine my darling, how are you?" . " I'm great". " I called to invite you to the opening of my restaurant" . She said.
